From my experience, 1 should check their audio sound system installation work for:
Dashboard cracks Speaker & tweeter cut out shapes & sizes on classic vehicle door panels Unnecessary/unused extra screw holes made that donât line up or hold the speakers & tweeters Door panel scratches
After 1 & 1/2 yrs, the passenger side tweeter fell out of its bracket & hanging by the wire which exposed a bigger than needed, misshapen hole for the tweeter. So I removed the door panel & saw how misshapen and huge the tweeters & speakers slots were; not to mention, all the extra screw holes and hesitation screw markings made which werenât used. So I removed the driver side door panel and observed the same âqualityâ work was done.
This is important to share because I will have a difficult time later upgrading/replacing these items with those huge, odd shaped voids, & extra screw holes in the door panels. Mind you, I went to them to upgrade from the original, factory sound system.
My name: Cynthia. You should also identity yourself, respondent. Would you like photos of the exaggerated, oval holes made into my truck door panels for circular speakers and tweeters with hesitant screw holes made for plain old screws significantly protruding into door void, or the cracks on my dashboard, missing screws, cracked liner behind the AC/radio cover. Along with the misaligned AC Vents near the stereo when the dash portion was placed back, which I had to re-align. The AC air would only blow through the vents near the windshield & the vents closest to the doors which wasnât noticed due to the excitement of blaring my new audio system with unknown speaker, tweeters brands. I didnât remove the entire dash to trace the button for the alarm just to avoid identifying further disappointment.
Purchased and paid in cash for a stereo system, tweeters, speakers, amp, subwoofer & alarm. I canât recall who the Calderon guy I spoke to was, a Calderon born in the early 80s though. Luckily my training showed me how to remove door panels, etc. to look for hidden stuff. Pictures to follow but you should put your name to your responses as well and some tactic.
Lifetime integrity, why would I go back and allow you or your employees to touch my truck again? Are you going to super glue the exaggerated cut out parts to my classic truckâs door panels? Repair the numerous hesitant screw marking on the door panel? It sure as heck was your work unless thereâs another Calderon electronicâs place on Ogden street near the ball park. What were your database search parameters in your...
Read moreWe needed our Washing machine repaired and we have our protection plan through home depot. we called and they set us up with Calderon Electronics who (unfortunately) is the only person in our âareaâ who they contract with to service the equipment. we called and made the appointment monday of this week, and was told a tech would come take a look today (thursday) between the hours of 8am-4pm. I cleared my schedule and waited till about 1:30pm when I called to see if they had a clearer ETA at that point. no one answered, so I left a voicemail. by 3:00 I still had not heard anything so I called again and reached Jerry. I explained that we had an appointment and was wondering when they were going to make it out. he stated that he is from del rio area (iâm in Atascosa County) and that he doesnât really have the time to come out but he wanted me to tell him what was wrong so he could order parts and come out saturday. I was throughly irritated as I waited all day and didnât even get a courtesy call and could not continue to rearrange my schedule for later in the week as I AREADY did for the appointment date. I then explained that we are not available on that date and that was the reason we made the appointment for today. he then continued to talk to me like I was stupid & kept repeating himself about âthatâs not how this worksââŚ. well then why did I bother to make an appointment days in advance if I wasnât even going to get so much as a call? my husband then had to speak to him, where he spoke to him in the same manner, not even acknowledging his failure to communicate. we will not ever be using this company again, and hope that Home depot can contract with other companies that can properly communicate with its customers. we would rather pay out of pocket, then deal with people who are rude and inconsiderate of...
Read moreOutstanding performance on behalf of Calderon Electronics!
I went in to get my sub-woofers wired into my car and have tint applied to my windows on two separate occasions, and on both occasions we worked out a good time for me to come in and the service was completed right on schedule.
So far, I've had no performance issues from my car's system and the tint looks great on my windows! Also, the inside of the car is much more bearable on long-distance drives out of Del Rio. Plus, I don't believe I'll ever have a problem with the services that Calderon Electronics has provided to me throughout the lifespan of my vehicle.
Thanks guys, keep up the good work! I'll make sure to come back when I...
