We went for the buffet. The food was decent BUT it was not enough for how full it was! They only have like 2 small buffet warmers. Not enough options to choose from. They would fill up the food and it was all gone in seconds. You literally had to wait in line if you wanted to serve yourself. The waitress was so RUDE right from the start. She only came to our table twice while she went to her other tables multiple times. One of the times she had gone only to insult us! We were a party of 8, of course our table was gunna have a lot of plates especially with her not going by often. She proceeds to say "let me take these plates so that they won't say you guys eat alot" I get the sense of humor, I really do, as I myself am one to joke around like that. But there is a difference in the way you say it and carry yourself while "joking" around and let me tell you..she was not joking in any way! So rude! I don't know if she was mad cuz we were her only big table but she did take it out on us, I'll tell you that! She also took the tab to all her tables and skipped ours. We had to tell the cashier what we all ordered. She really shouldn't be working there if she's that miserable. Do I recommend this place? It’s Christmas Eve and me and my family wanted to share a nice breakfast. Upon arriving we were not greeted , the server was not very good at attending us . After ordering for 4 we all ordered duplicate plates . My father and I both got our plates about 20 min after ordering but my grandma and my mother did not receive theirs.Another 30 minutes had passed and people around that had gotten there after us were receiving their food. Another family of 3 had also been waiting a long time that they decided to leave. About another 10 min passed when we decided to just leave and my mother asked to speak to a manager . When the manager came out she was looking down at her phone texting . When my mom was about to explain to her what had happened she was acting as if she didn’t care . Then proceeded to just ignore my mom and just kept asking what we ordered when she had the ticket in her hand. That’s when another customer approached us and the manager proceeded to speak about us IN FRONT OF US . This was by FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had somewhere . If I could give this place 10 Startls I would. Stopped at a different restaurant here in Del Rio and left because they charge $7.99 for chips & salsa. When I pulled up I knew I made the right choice. Walked in and the atmosphere was do amazing, felt right at home actually. They had to buffet today, the selection was amazing, the flavor, and taste was some of the best Mexican food I have tasted in a very long time. Joel was my server and let me tell you he is the BEST server I have had the pleasure of meeting. I was a server many years ago and have never met someone genuine as Joel.
