Hobby Central — Local services in Delaware

This place may not seem like much, but it's one of the best hobby shops around. Jaime and Kam know their stuff! From comics to board games to models and clock repair. They have a great community of Magic players and strong community of Warhammer and Heroclix. This place also serves another purpose. It's a safe place for young teens to get together and enjoy table top games. The community needs to give Hobby Central more recognition for what it does for kids who maybe don't fit in at school or are considered to be weirdos by their peers. A place to be themselves and stay out of trouble. The city doesn't even have anything close to this for the age group. I spend at least two nights a week in there playing and love every minute of it! Okay dude straight up I love this place I'm not even into the hobby stuff all the much but my dad really is and they giys who work here totally understand that. It's awesome I've been to alot of Storrs like that getting Warhammer 40K stuff for my dad for Christmas and his birthday and whatnot and the staff here always are nice and helpful I can't even begin to explain how lucb I appreciate that. What a great shop. First time visitor yesterday, and I was just killing a bit of time before an appointment. No agenda walking in. Just curious. The back of the store is set up for game nights and the walls are PACKED. There are games, accessories, models, paints, glues, components of every kind imaginable.
