Saw all the great reviews and figured this would be the place to purchase my wife an anniversary set of earring. Could not have been more disgusted with what happened. Showed the sales person Lois what I wanted to match and after an hour of looking through different pieces, we found something we thought would be great. Spoke with the owner and we agreed on a price with a down deposit and matched the item number on my ticket before I left. I get a message saying her earnings came in and got sent a picture to show how pretty they were. Turns out they were not the same earnings and you could tell from the pictures. “I” had to point these things out to Lois and tell her it’s not the same earnings. She agreed and I never heard anything for another week and a half. Figuring I needed to check on the order, I texted her back and asked if the correct ones made it in. I get told I need to come look at the wrong earnings because they match better to her and how pretty they are. I can’t express how disgusted and disappointed I am in you people. I came a month early to get something special for my wife and you guys literally dropped the ball on the entire process. Thankfully I got my deposit back, but didn’t get an apology or any other type of explanation as to what happened. I spoke with two other jewelers and Come to find out, apparently the earnings we ordered were on backorder and unsure when anyone would be getting them in. So instead of calling and telling me this, you just ordered something else and figured I wouldn’t notice or go along with it. Read moreMy wife and I visited during fall fest in Denham Springs and were very disappointed in the customer service. With NOT ANOTHER CUSTOMER in the store we were never offered any help or asked if we would like to view an item even while standing at a case which an employee was sitting 3 feet behind. My wife chose to post her concerns in a review which lead to the owner being unbelievably rude. My wife and I are business owners and would hope to never demonstrate this type of customer service, and if we did we SURE WOULD NOT respond to criticism the way the owner here has. Jewelry stores are a dime a dozen these days SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

I find it funny how you've been in business for six years and have 8 reviews. As far as our business goes we will handle our negative criticism in a much more professional way, not lashing out in a tyrant through google. Its sad because I have the power to change a google review and would have been happy to do so if you would have made any effort to right your wrongs. Instead you proceed to bully and harass. And to finish off on your " you had every rite to come to me and my wife" well we shouldn't have to when there is no one else in the store. Read moreI got an engagement ring appraised through Salassi, from the very start I was not impressed. When I initially called to ask about information on the appraisal process I was later informed (after dropping off the ring for appraisal) I was given incorrect information regarding price and the amount of time it would take for the appraisal to be completed. Since then, I recently tried to sell the engagement ring I got appraised by them and was informed by a different jeweler my ring had undergone treatment at some point that is required to be disclosed. Salassi never informed me that they saw signs of treatment at any point during the appraisal process or on any of the paperwork provided. I called them to let them know and throughout our conversation I was also informed that during the appraisal process they simply ran the ring through a machine and it does not seem that an actual individual inspected the jewelry itself (the jeweler who informed me of the treatment only looked at the ring using a microscope for less than 5 minutes and the appraisal took roughly two weeks).
