I brought my stepdaughter and her friend here this afternoon and I was impressed! Somehow I never knew or heard about this place, but several people recommended it when I mentioned it. It is very nice and setup really neat and comfortable on the inside. Extremely relaxing vibe, which I really needed today. It had tables with 4 chairs set up everywhere with paint brushes & water. You got to pick any picture you wanted out of their gallery online that you wanted to paint and they stencil the drawing out for you right there, took 5 minutes or so. Then you have however long you need or want to paint. No rush or time frame, no appointments needed. You also get to choose if you want your painting on a canvas type white board or Pottery! And several different sizes of each one to pick. $20 for the 11×14 canvas, which is the smallest canvas choice, which still took about an hour and a half maybe to complete. Probably would have knocked off a good 15/20 minutes if we focused the entire time, but I admit we were easily distracted and were having fun. The sweet woman working inside, I'm she is the owner, was super sweet and friendly. The younger gentleman doing the stenciling and who basically took care of our every need & questions & anything was very respectful in his mannerisms and very accommodating! Super Neat and laid back! I'll definitely return soon to try some other painting projects lol......and will recommend them to anyone. 5 stars for Brushfire Art ❤️❤️

We booked and paid for a birthday party for 10, even though there were less than 10 painters. We didn't show up early to set up or anything since we didn't have any decorations, but there was plenty of room for our party of 18. There was a table to paint on and another table for the presents/cake. Our kids chose pieces that were over the $19 value limit, but since there were only 7 people painting, the owner let the difference come out of the unused pieces, instead of paying the difference. We stayed about 30 minutes past our party time, but they didn't rush us out or anything. They had great ceramic pieces to choose from and the canvas painting that were displayed were amazing! The women in our group planned a canvas painting night out just from looking at the displays. They accommodated and attended to us very well- extra paint, different colors, specific brushes, extra supplies. To top it off, they made party time for us! We planned this party last minute as we were visiting from out of town and planning it for our daughter who doesn't live with us. Although they were closed, they quickly replied to our message on FaceBook. They mentioned that they were booked, but when told our situation, they made arrangements to fit us in for the time we wanted.

It's like a hidden gem 🥺 in Denham Springs!! I love ceramic painting and I've been to two different Color Me Mine locations. I definitely prefer this to Color Me Mine. The fees on the available items to paint covers everything. There's no additional painting fee. The glaze is self-serve. They let you come as many days as needed to complete the piece. Everyone is so nice. It was difficult to find something plain, simple, and bare bone in design to paint. Just be sure to ask if there's any more items available. The ones on display have some sort of design on it. And it's hard to paint over it as the design could be raised, have ridges, etc. If they can expand their display to include more plain items would be great. The glaze being self served is a blessing and a curse because you may unintentionally waste their paint. Just be careful and use their glaze template. The staff is very helpful with any questions. The area is well maintained and clean. There's a nice ambiance while painting. Definitely coming here a bunch now that I know this place exists. As of writing this review, I have yet to finish my piece because I am a slow artist but I'm so thankful that they are able to hold onto my project.

This place is amazing. Just wondering in after having an adventure in the antique district. Very friendly staff and helpful staff at that. We came back to make my mother a plate for her birthday. My sister's family did one of those Angel plates with my nephew's feet, he's a toddler. They were very helpful in giving us pointers on how to plant this blank clay plate. I was the decoy man on the job since my nephew is a toddler and he needs a lot of help, with a short and adventurous attention span. They were gracious enough to pull out a set of coloring books with colors I guess they counted a lot of kids coming in here. While I was distracting the kid my sister was finishing up the plate and we had a very fun time. I'm definitely going to come back up here to use their paint and canvases. I am an artist myself, I just don't got a place to really paint.

The building is very large they have a large variety of paints and brushes. And it's very nice and air conditioned given the Louisiana heat. The first time I wondered in they were gracious enough to just let me sit at a table and draw with my own pencils and pins for free. That was because I brought my own pencils and pins as I was looking at things to draw in the antique district. But I did buy a Coke and some snacks. Which are extremely affordable. A dollar for a soft drink and a snack. You can't even do that in a gas station. If you're looking for a good artist alley kind of place look no further than these beautiful people at this beautiful studio. Highly recommended from a wondering artist, who is happy to have wondered...
