I worked for Fareway for 5 years from 14-19 years old. It was the friendliest environment and even customers complimented us. Iāve been going to this Fleur Fareway since it opened and itās a hit or miss with good/bad customer service. A lot of the cashiers arenāt very friendly. Tonight we went, Ella was our cashier. She yelled over the counter of another cashier telling us she could help us - rudely. As she was checking us out she didnāt even greet us or ask how we were. She noticed our yellow onions had no tag and decided to ring them up as the single yellow onions. They rung up more expensive and I explained the package was 3.49 per pack. She smirked at me and said "Well the ones you grabbed have no tag, so you'll need to go grab a new one" whatever- I did.. I brought them up and she just rolled her eyes. I thought if an item needed a price check or another item needed brought up your employees brought them up themselves? I guess not. Customer service is getting so poor these days. I will not be back to shop at this...

They're always super friendly and willing to show you what you're looking for or answer any other questions you might have. They bring the cart out to your car for you and help load your groceries, and take it back in. Their meat department is always the best for good quality, local, reasonably priced meat. They're also cheaper than Hy-Vee for most things, though they don't carry as many brands/items. I try to get a lot of my stuff from here and then look elsewhere for what I can't find. I really like their cut fruit platters, which go on sale for $5 a pound often. You can tell they actually choose good fruit to put in it, so you shouldn't get squishy grapes or chewy pieces of pineapple like you get at other stores. I think they cut it in house too, so it's much fresher. Overall, it's a great option for supporting local businesses and has a nice atmosphere. The employees clearly put in a lot of effort and care into...
