I had a great meal at 787. The food was authentic, fresh and tasted as if my abuela cooked it. I highly recommend you give this place a try. I had the pernil sandwich, tostones and surullos.

The service was awesome, friendly and fast. Great simple menu only serving the good stuff!! Me and my son were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness and TASTE of the food. The accapurrieas and the rellenos were great NOT greasy, great flavor, you could tell the oil was fresh and good quality. Great lunchtime stop, very pleased that we stopped when we seen those flags waving at us! We will see definitely be back and we're bringing friends and family! Thank you very much, and best of luck serving the people of Detroit real Puerto Rican food. Thank you, Iwish i would of gotten the ladies name that took our order she was...

Service was great and they were open on the 4th of July! My husband loved the cheese dog in the empanada dough and the food was SO hot and fresh! I got an empanada (chicken) on the 4th and it was the best one I've ever had! I went back on the 5th to grab two and they were filled with what tasted and looked like Walmart unflavored rotisserie chicken 🤢 WAS AWFUL and I threw them away. Also their arroz gondules was ok, a little unflavored and salty, edible but...

The sandwiches are on point. I had been looking for a good Cuban sandwich in the area. My puerto rican primo told me to come to 787 and get the tripleta sandwich. Also ended up getting the pernil sandwich and the the jamon y queso sandwich. Everything crazy good! My apologies to the workers cuz I always show up at closing time. Appreciate your time.
