Menu says $3.99 for breakfast burritos. I got 2 and was charged $19.53 lol. 20 bucks for eggs that were way over cooked, brown, crunchy and dried out, hardly any meat or cheese on either. I was super disappointed. I have gotten Tacos and burritos before here that were pretty good. If you don’t speak Spanish beware, you may get ripped off. I won’t be back 👎🏻

Visited two ago after a year hiatus, and I wasn’t surprised by the long lines,it was just I choose to go during lunchtime. But, I was still able to get out faster than a fast food drive through line. The food is great authentic #MexicanFood, reasonable prices for a huge amount of food. 🌯🌮🥗

Expensive tacos. Very sparse on protein. Shells are store brand, not made in house. Roja salsa was mild. Very friendly staff tho the steak tacos and chicken tacos aren't worth the visit. Pass.

Las Cazuelas in Detroit is a spot I often find myself heading to when the craving for authentic Mexican food hits. The shrimp tacos there are something special, and if you're into flavors that pack a punch, the cazuela tacos are a must-try. The steak is another highlight, always cooked just right, and the hot salsa brings the perfect level of heat to the table.

The atmosphere of the place adds so much to the dining experience. The staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel at home right from the moment you step in. They're quick to serve, but they never make you feel rushed, which is great. It's the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy your meal without any pressure.

I do have to admit, though, I miss how handy the Melvindale location was. It was the perfect spot for a quick and tasty lunch break from the factory. It was sad to see it go. But, thankfully, the Detroit location is keeping the legacy alive, serving up those familiar, delicious flavors and crunchy tacos. And when you're there, don't skip on their burrito bowl or taco salad; they're just as amazing. The place may be bustling, but it's always worth the visit for the delicious food and the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel like you're part of the...

When to this place to try the food because I heard good things about this place from the locals so I gave it a try I ordered the chicken tacos usually chicken tacos come with cilantro onions and radishes but particularly at this place apparently you can get what so I asked for the radish and they didn't have it so I asked for tomato to replace the and now all of a sudden they don't speak English so I got 10 tacos chicken tacos she charged me 16 bucks so when I come back for the same thing they don't have radish so I asked for tomato and she charged me for supreme tacos when she was missing item that comes with the chicken and they charged me $28 to get 10 tacos the same thing I ordered the other day animated a problem that she couldn't give me 10 tacos but clearly she had the meat to give me 10 tacos then told me that she put extra meat on the tacos and I didn't ask for extra this place was a mess and if y'all really want to do customer service to the public I suggest you get someone in there that can speak English and plus polite I would never go back no matter the locals telling me that the news gave them...

The food has decent flavor, but the portions definitely don’t match the price. The tacos had barely any meat, and the "hot" sauce lacked any real spice — in fact, none of the sauces had flavor or heat, and they were extremely watery.

But honestly, the food isn't even the main reason I’m writing this. I’ve been here a few times over the years and usually just let it slide, but my most recent visit reminded me exactly why I stopped coming after 2020. The service here is just terrible. I don’t know if it’s personal, cultural, or something else, but the staff — particularly the women — come off as rude and unwelcoming. I'm Mexican myself, though I don’t speak Spanish, and their body language and attitude made it clear we weren't welcome. My husband picked up on it before I did, and once I noticed it too, it all clicked.

Between the dry tortillas, watery sauces, bland rice, and poor service, I’ve had enough. I’d rather cook at home than waste my time, money, and peace of mind here again. My own authentic Mexican food is much better anyways, I actually know how to make sauce...
