A few times I've been at downtown events and I arrived at this store 10 minutes until closing (because I was nearby and thought hey, I'll pop in). Even though the store isn't closed yet, they'll tell you they are closing and glare at you. In my mind, customer service means that doors close at the time the store closes and then customers are nicely reminded to wrap up. The prices are very high and comments are made such as "eBay sells it for $x" - eBay is a different business type with people competing worldwide for certain items and a brand new item in the box from the 70's is a lot different than a worn out broken item without all the parts from the 70's. Read moreDuring my visit here, I noticed a few unfriendly messages posted in the store. Something along the lines of "If you have time to unfold them, you have time to fold them back." I don't know if they employ workers or volunteers but isn't that part of the reason why they're there? And it's a church thrift shop too so not exactly a welcoming message. The woman working the register also overcharged me for the DVDs I bought but she did fix her mistake and refunded me...
