We purchased a top of the line Speed Queen washer, commercial grade from Bob's Electric on 12-8-23. We set up to have delivery 12-13-23 between 9-10 am. Our salesperson said the driver would call when on their way to deliver. As of 10:24 am, no call, so I called the main office. The woman who answered the phone said the delivery driver should be on his way. She asked, "did he call?" I said, "no." About 5 minutes later, delivery driver called my husband and said "someone called about delivery? He said he was just filling up gas. Well, finally at 11:45 am, he arrived. Didn't say hi to my husband, nor did he say much when he got here. He set our new washer into place, hooked it up, and said let it warm up before using. That was it, and he left. If he would have at least called and said he would be running late, that would have helped, but 1 1/2 hours late! No call, no apology! I will add that we do have a Maytag dryer that we purchased last year. Not a single issue with delivery, and they called ahead of time. Was not pleased at all with our customer sevice...
Read moreWe have purchased multiple appliances from Bob's Electric. Prices typically match or come close to big box store prices. Where Bob's exceeds expectations is in customer care and service. When we needed to wait for a specific refrigerator to arrive from the manufacturer Bob's gave us a loaner at no charge. This past week we experienced a problem with a dishwasher that would not drain water at the end of it's cycle. I could ascertain the problem was not clogged filters or a drain tube blockage. Over the phone Bob's Electric service technician Brent explained how to take the impeller motor assembly off the dishwasher bottom. Sure enough the impeller had a blockage. Before reassembling I took the impeller motor assembly to Bob's and Brent powered it up to insure that the motor was still functional. No charge for any of this customer support. Read moreTerry is that special kind of salesman that understands when 4 women (3 generations) walk into his store on a Saturday and say they need ALL new appliances there may be a "little" stressful situation happening!! When he asked, "When do you need these appliances?" and your answer is, "Wednesday." He didn't bat an eye. He treated our 89+ year old mother with respect and kindness! When we called 2 days later to add a range hood his reply was, "No problem. Let's try this and if it doesn't work we'll find one that does." The employees that delivered the appliances were efficient and everything was in its place in short order in perfect shape!!
