He is nice and is always considerate of passengers. Airboat is a must-try in Everglades. We saw 4 alligators, 2 are a couple. We also saw the grey blue herons and other birds. The picking-up and dropping-off spot is along the way to Key West. So if you somehow want to merge the visit to Everglades and Key West, Captain Willy should be your best choice. He is very punctual. We reserved the 9am private tour. When we arrived at exactly 9am, he was already waiting for us. We just went on an airboat tour with Captain Willy and were absolutely mesmerized by the experience! In a very open, kind, and funny way, he shared his deep knowledge about the local wildlife and vegetation. He spoke very clear English, which made it easy for us as German tourists to understand everything. During the ride, we saw many different animal species – even baby alligators – and we even got to feed some birds! What an absolute gem & a legend Captain Willy is! We had no reservation & contacted him on his cell phone the day that we wanted to go on a tour. He was so accommodating & helpful & offered to get us on a tour later the same morning. He sent over excellent directions & instructions for the meet up. We went on an hour trip & came across a few Alligators amongst other wildlife (i won't spoil it). He was so informative & interesting to listen to & is incredibly knowledgeable about the environment.
