It wasn’t the food, it was the Female owner whom made it a bad experience. She treats her employees like total bag of shit. She screams at them in front of the customers. Are you kidding me? I couldn’t believe what my eyes were seeing nor hearing. I went in & decided to get 2 sandwiches. Everything was great up to that point. But I noticed that when I was paying she (owner) was speaking to the waitress in a certain way then I realized, “Oh, she must definitely be new”. Anyhow, I went to my seat, got my food really quick which was amazing . As I was eating I noticed the tomato didn’t look so great. Since I was hungry, I just took it out, however my son (2yrs) looked weird, therefore I decided to smell it . I told the waitress. Immediately she was kind and professional, very friendly asked me if I wanted to get it changed, I said sure . I see her walking to the owner (kind of intimidated by her) and told her the situation, the owner screamed at her saying, “Don’t you see I’m busy, don’t you see I’m doing something here , tell them (pointing at the people who were making the sandwiches)”. The waitress had my plate which only had the tomatoes because I removed it from my sandwich but I kept my son’s plate which he didn’t even eat much of it. “For a 2 yr old & how sensitive their system is, there’s a high chance he could get a stomach virus because of the texture and odor of the tomato.” Moving forward, From my table I see the owner telling the waitress, “Well she ate the sandwich.” (Sarcastically) Speaking to her rudely so I decided to walk up with my son on my hip and his plate of food on my hand and told her; “Ma’am, you need to STOP that RIGHT NOW. It’s not her fault, don’t speak to her like that, you are very rude and disrespectful! You are a problem to this society. No one deserves to be treated the way you are treating your employee.” I walked away, she tried to reimbursed back the money. I said, “I don’t need the money, you can keep it.” As I was walking away the waitress seemed scared but I Pray she doesn’t get fired for no reason, because of me, because I stood up to the owner for treating her badly. It’s not RIGHT! I can’t stand to see injustice! I won’t stand for that. Read moreToday on 1/13/2024 I went to the restaurant to have a dinner I usually order at least 1-2 a week through DoorDash or Uber eats tonight I decided to go out and enjoy a meal out. Upon my arrival to the restaurant around 6:45pm and asking to be seated I was told I couldn’t be seated because they had a large reservation. This is the first time I go to any restaurant in Miami or elsewhere where I couldn’t be seated. I understand you have a large group but there should be seating available for others that come to eat especially customers that weekly make purchases from your business. The food is great but the service isn’t great this is my second time coming to the restaurant. The first time I went the young man that waits was more interested in chatting with some girls than waiting the tables and today he didn’t even try to find an accommodation for me. This has left a very sour taste in my mouth. I am really going to consider ordering...
Read moreI was very excited to come to try this place based on their IG account. I liked it was quiet and slow for a Friday night so zero wait time to get seated. We ordered; Carpaccio ($18), NY Steak ($36), Beef risotto($30), two desserts (~$11/each) and Wine ($8.50/glass). The food was good, however the Risotto had more mushrooms than beef and that’s not what you would expect for the tag price. What I didn’t really like was the service. It felt we had to stare uncomfortably to the kitchen to get attention. At the end, we really wanted to try the desserts and when I asked if they could explain them to me, the waitress had zero clue… we decided to go with our instinct but unfurled one of the desserts we got wasn’t what we had ordered and when we told the waitress they took the dessert away without bringing the correct one…
Service is very important when dealing with restaurants that end up being $140 for a...
