Ordered a Traeger grill online. I used the delivery from store option because I wanted to surprise my husband with it ready for him when he got home. Scheduled it on the website. I received a call Monday that went to voicemail about needing to reschedule. Ok no problem. Took 6 calls of repeatedly being hung up on(you could hear the click of them hanging up) before I could get it rescheduled. It was rescheduled for today and I was told I’d receive a phone call and to just wait for that call. Well 2pm rolls around and I’m like I haven’t gotten a call that’s strange I’ve been waiting all day for this delivery. So I call the store to be told I need to be rescheduled again. I asked why no one called to let me know I’ve been hanging around my house all day waiting for a delivery when I have stuff to do. Now I have to break the surprise to my husband cause I need him to go with me to pick it up with his truck because I don’t want to wait another week to get it and deal with another chance of this happening. The most unprofessional deliver experience I...
Read moreI broke a window pane on a garage door, I called Rommel's (last wed) to see if they cut glass , they said they did. Drove right over, 20min, to get there. Went to the cash register and said I needed a piece of glass cut, the "associate" at counter said she didn't know if anyone was there who could cut glass. What? She finally found someone, two guys went to back room with my dimensions 20 3/8 X 23. Ten minutes later the guys come back and say they have a problem with the 23 in dimension. They have a 24 in piece of glass but don't want to cut it, they are afraid they are going to brake the whole thing. Are you kidding me! I owned a hardware store, I cut A LOT of glass, cutting 1in off is like perfect, it's the least amount of waste possible, no brainer. The two guys gave me a name and address of a "glass specialist", they were closed. Rommel's should have at least one trained and qualified glass cutter on site, especially when a person calls and says they are coming in FOR A PIECE...
Read moreI've only had to visit the store a few times over the last couple of years because they were the only ones in the area who stocked what I needed. Every time I walked in they were paranoid that I would steal something and even though they have no legal right to ask me, they requested that I put my backpack at behind their front desk.
The last thing I ever stole my life was a candy bar when I was 10 years old. These people think they have something so valuable in their store, but they really have nothing
I have personal knowledge that the Home Depot loses at least four to five hundred dollars a day in inventory due to theft. But these people are following me around because I'm looking for a bolt for the nut that I have in my pocket.
Essentially they hire the lowest of low employees. They're incompetent and if you ask them complex question about how many windings are around this particular model of electrical motor that is employed in a Ryobi leaf blower. They wouldn't...
