At Rice Fusion, the experience was elevated to a whole new level thanks to the exceptional service provided by a kind little lady. Her dedication and attention to detail truly made our dining experience memorable and delightful.
From the moment we stepped in, the waitress's warm greeting and genuine smile set the tone for the afternoon. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, guiding us through the extensive options with insightful recommendations tailored to our tastes. She took the time to understand our preferences and dietary restrictions, ensuring that every dish served was not only delicious but also met our specific needs. I am a vegetarian and a lot of places don't meet my needs, but the waitress was extremely helpful when taking my order.

Read moreI've been wanting to try this restaurant and when I finally did, it turned out to be such a big disappointment and here's why:
I ordered a Happy Family which came with half of lobster tail, chicken, beef, mixed vegetables and white rice. Sounds like a good meal right? Well, the lobster was SPOILED. When I brought it to the server's attention, he just took the plate without saying anything. Then he came back with the bill and informed me, $3.00 was deducted because of the spoiled lobster and he stood there as if he was waiting for me to say "thank you for the discount". I headed to the register and paid my due without leaving a tip because why should I? I was just served with a meal that had a spoiled lobster tail in it. I proceeded to walk out the door and a few seconds later, the server comes out and calls for my attention and says "you're not leaving any tip?" as he pointed at the bill. So, I shook my head at the same time I replied "no". Oh, that server gave me a look of disgust and muttered "okay, okay...".
Wow, I've never experienced something like that. I place that expected a tip even after messing up my food. Here's the kicker, they have a certificate of some sort of award because of their awesome food. People, I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY COULD'VE POSSIBLY GOTTEN THAT AWARD. DON'T EAT THERE. You might get food poisoning. Apparently they don't check their items that they put in...
Read moreWe had a horrible experience and because of it we will not be returning. My wife ordered takeout from their restaurant on March 11th 2023 and received what appeared to be someone's leftovers. When she called to tell them about the issue and requested a new order they told her no because they claimed she picked the food up over an hour ago and that someone else had time to tamper with it. Are you kidding me!?! Just the fact that they insinuated that she would try to cheat them out of a $7 spider roll was insulting. I will never patronize Rice, Dover again and will certainly tell my friends about this incident as well. This review is as late as it is because my wife just told it to me following a wonderful meal we experienced at Rice Restaurant in Newark DE. I’m a firm believer in writing reviews in addition to not patronizing the business. I think some business owners are sometimes arrogant and my only recourse is to express myself via word of mouth and writing a review detailing the experience. In this case, it was a horrible experience. Serving leftover sushi rolls and insulting your customers qualifies this as such.
Here's a picture of what they gave her. Do better by the people...
