I placed an order with an anticipated wait time of an hour. When the first driver arrived he PRE FILLED THE AMOUNT OF TIP TO LEAVE on his electronic device and just told me to sign, gave me my food and walked away...I proceeded to sign not realizing that he had already selected the amount for the tip. I was a bit taken back by this because i was not given the option to select the amount of a tip i wanted. I then opened the bag and food and realized that it was not what i ordered. I hurried up and ran to the door to stop the driver to advise that this was not my food. The driver explained that he did not check the food and called to the store. The store advised that another driver would be bringing the food. The same food that i touched and opened was delivered then placed back in the vehicle to be delivered to the correct person. How disgusting with COVID still going on. I immediately called the store and asked to speak to the manager. I explained to the manager how I was uncomfortable with the customer service I received from the driver and that i was bothered how the next person was about to receive food that I touched and opened. I explained how unsanitary and disgusting this was and advised I would be leaving a review and also due to the poor customer service asked for my money back and they keep the food. I asked specifically "how could we fix this?". The manager immediately took what I said personal explaining that she doesn't take kindly to threats and doesn't like my tone- not taking into consideration that this was not about HER. This was about ME the CUSTOMER. Of course my tone is not going to be pleasant with what I JUST experienced and NOW am experiencing. The manager did not try to rectify the situation and was very combative. I asked if she would refund my money and keep the food. She agreed and when I asked for her name SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I called back to the store- and advised that I needed the name of the manager that had just hung up on me. The person on the line advised that "The Manager" was not comfortable giving me her name since I mentioned that I would be filing a complaint" AND HUNG UP AGAIN!
A second driver arrived about 15 minutes later, he was much more pleasant and personable. He delivered the correct order, I asked him who was the managers on duty and he advised that it was SAM and MARA. MARA is over deliveries.
I went to the store because I still wanted my refund and at this point I don't want nor trust your food. Mara was present- and yet still very unapologetic about how she handled my complaint. I asked for a receipt to show that she refunded my money. YALL- THE ORDER WAS NEVER REFUNDED LIKE SHE SAID SHE WOULD DO!!!
Mara never advised on how she could make this experience better. Even if she couldn't refund the money there was nothing complimentary even offered. Mara never apologized and internalized the situation making it seem as though I was attacking her. As a manager there are proper protocols to follow when it comes to conflict resolution. Mara definitely needs to be retrained or put on fries.

Read moreWow I don't know where to start, just experienced horrible customer service from the Pat's pizza in Dover Delaware. 1st let me give you a little bit of the back story last Wednesday I placed the order online as I typically do almost every day I must say that I am a valuable customer I have received $10 off several times through the rewards program for earning 100 points.
So I ordered my own boneless wings with light sauce, and a order of waffle fries. To be delivered to my office. When my food arrived to my surprise my boneless chicken with light mild sauce looked like charcoal use for a barbecue grill and my waffle fries were burnt and they were all stuck together.
So I proceeded to call the restaurant to explain that my food was not edible so I was told that I was going to receive a $16 credit for the trouble that I could use at any time.
So today I called to use my credit today and I was told that my credit was only $15 okay no problem I replied so I ordered exactly what I ordered before and then I was told that my total is already at $16 I proceeded to ask why and I was told that I had to pay a dollar $1.99 for delivery to my surprise. So I explained to the person on the phone as I were going to have them redeliver it on the same day as when I ordered it originally they were not going to charge me another delivery fee the person on the phone told me yes that is because it would be called a remake. I explained to this person which I later found out was the manager I don't understand why I have to pay you $1.99 to redeliver me food that I was so-called given me credit for. She proceeded to tell me that this is the policy. As I stated before I order from them all the time I have multiple online receipts to prove this. The delivery guy was wonderful.however, when I checked my food...I was charged $11.74 for 2 small/baby cheese steak roll ups on top of the other food we ordered! Contacted them immediately due to the issue and even my husband stated ,are those for kids? Been ordering with them for over 15 years but stopped due to the lower quality with service and food. Talked with a female manager last year and gave them another chance. I just stuck to pizza and quesadillas cause I figured how hard is that to mess up.Spoke with manager and he stated that's how they come and how long ago did I order with them , showing it must of changed. Then he said the picture on the menu is cut in half butwe had it before and this was an insult. But what was really disappointing was that he didn't offer any solutions to a long standing customer who did not get was ordered. I could of ordered a full sandwich for the price and it's not about price being that we ordered over$159.00 worth of food not only with Pat's but 2 different places for dinner tonight.Its not about the price but it's about the principal. Lastly I'm not going to address the meat lovers pizza with extra cheese that barely had any meat on it. I'm a meat lovers addict and today's Pizza was not like last week's pizza.
