Iāve been there twice since they opened and while the food is great, the service is slow, a lot of things on the menu they donāt have yet (both understandable), but the real issue is both times they over charged me. The first time I figured it must of been a honest mistake on their part and they were so busy I just let it go because I was ready to leave, however when it happened again I asked the waitress for a itemized receipt as they try to get you to pay on a little machine that doesnāt show this, and when she brought it I showed her several items that we had been over charged for and showed her the menu and how the prices didnāt match. She said she would fix it but then came back and it was still wrong so I pointed it out again nicely and she said she thought so and would fix it againā¦if she thought so why was it still wrong? I suggested they give itemized receipts right away not upon request to avoid this and explained it was now our second time dining and this happened again and she said okay. When she came back they had fixed the bill and given us about $10 off due to the two issues two different nights but she commented she had been asked if we were lying which really offended me, the restaurant is the one making clear mistakes and when I honestly pointed it out calmly and waited for it to be corrected Iām the one accused of being dishonest even when I never said anything as unkind to them only just that they made a mistake. Now Iām left wondering after such an unhelpful comment if they are the ones being dishonest and that they did know they are over charging people and not giving receipts without one requesting one to hide that. I hope they improve. I want to like them, but I had to let others know, get a receipt and check it against the menu and prices please for your own sake. An argument persuade at the bar with cursing and yelling people were stunned. No one stepped in to stop it. Luckily the ones that were not screaming chose to leave the drunk women who was cursing and yelling. We also left and when I called to speak to a manager I was told she doesn't speak English. First time was on a Sunday approximately arrived at 4:30 3 tables with customers and had to keep asking other waitresses or staff where our waitress was. She let used dishes pile up while other dishes where served. 50 minutes to get our main course, not asking to refill drinks,, food was acceptable. I don't see this place surviving. We walked in there was not a single customer on Saturday at lunch time(very odd). We were seated. Had to wipe the table off. Seat was torn and taped. The overall cleanliness is not there. You can tell by the dirty rag wipe marks on the booths. Floors were dirty with what looked like to be paper pieces. The high chairs are absolutely disgusting. Now the food. $19 for 2 tacos. The tacos had more letuce than meat. The enchiladas tasted like frozen reheats. The rice portion was like a quarter cup. Black beans were all liquid. The server was ok but definitely doesn't listen. $4 for 2 spoons of queso..smh $4 for a fountain drink is INSANITY. $9 for a basic bottle beer is INSANITY. LA HACIENDA used to be my go to but you can tell they have lost sight of the experience for customers. Food has went down hill and so has the cleanliness and customer service. They are the prime example of turning a good thing into a bad thing. They tried to grow too fast with multiple locations. Sadly i will not be returning.
