Papá Churros — Local services in Downey

We came here for some churros after having lunch next door because the smell of the churros was so enticing. As we walked in we were greeted by Oscar who was so friendly and warm and he told us he would bring out a fresh batch of the churros with the Nutella filling that we ordered. As we were waiting we also were greeted by Mr Papa Churros himself, Orlando, and he was so nice and friendly. The inside of this shop is decorated so beautifully for the Xmas holidays. Once we got home with our churros they were still nice and hot and omg so delicious. We enjoyed every bite. Now we're hooked. The answer to what does everyone want for dessert is now always Nutella Churros from Papa Churros!!! Delicious!! Their tres leches is also very good!! We had the strawberry shortcake trees...

Also, very much appreciate the sugar only option for my mini who is allergic to cinnamon. Great service, best churros!

Service is as excellent as the sweets. My daughter is allergic to cinnamon, and she was accommodated with sugar only churros. That kind gesture made her day. Thank you, Papa Churros.

Don't forget to get your warm champurrado and filled churros. We tried every flavor, all were good and we loved the Nutella...

I was in the area for lunch and the scent of fresh churros filled the air. I’m glad I went in and tried it. The prices are pretty good and the Churros were delicious. They had a nice menu and my wife and I decided we would come back soon to try some of their breakfast options. It is a small space so it wouldn’t be able to accommodate a large group but if it’s just you and a significant other you may enjoy a tasita de café de olla and some of their churros or other fresh baked goods. Give it a try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
