Kuwahara was ok this year. The staff/actors were not near as enthusiastic as they use to be and did not really get into character. Last year you were taken through the train, costume shop, candy shop and other buildings by a guide who told a story and interacted with guests.... It seems they have done away with this in 2022. Now you have one lady who asks if you would like to look around in the costume shop and another who simply asks if you would like to buy anything in the candy shop. Other then that you just walk in and out of the buildings looking at a few animatronic ghouls, gremlins and monsters. The corn maze is very small and took a 5 year old five minutes to figure it out. Next you have the haunted castle. (I cannot remember what they called it) this is very uneventful and yet again the actors did not seem to even try to get into character. I do not expect good acting, but I at least would like to see some effort. The haunted house, which is supposed to be the scary attraction, was mainly hitting things loudly and screaming in your ear. I wish they actually tried to scare you or creep you out, not annoy you! I use to enjoy the zombie booth in which you shot paintball guns at people dressed like zombies, but now they only have dummies that do not move to shoot. The kids enjoyed the corn pit, bounce houses and slides. The pumpkin patch was still the same and great for family photos. We did not eat so I do not know how the food was. At $18.95 a person for the Thriller Park (Mon-Thu) and $24.95 (Fri-Sun), 3 and under is free, I would highly recommend not paying this amount for the Thriller Park experience or lack thereof! I would just pay the $5 to get into the pumpkin patch to buy pumpkins and take some...
Read moreWe used to come here every year but this place has become SO GREEDY.
4 years ago we started coming here. The pumpkin patch was free and thriller park was $10. This season, they are charging $5 just to LOOK at the damn pumpkins and only Monday thru Thursday that will go towards a pumpkin purchase, which is great but Friday-Sun, you're out of luck. Greedy. For Thriller park, they've added a FEW new things which is great, but not worth the cost of nearly $30 for weekend pricing with their online fees. A family of 4 would pay $83 for weekday, and $102 for weekend pricing. Think before you go, parents have to pay full price for admission but all you're getting is the price to be with your kids and walk through the area. Is walking around a tiny corn maze, watching kids go on a few bounce houses and sitting in a wimpy corn "pit" worth $30 as an adult? Paintball in the park isn't even included. That's extra. You'll be here abour 1.5-2 hours for their unbelievable prices. You could spend the same amount or LESS at the aquarium, zoo, or cornbellys be there ALL day and you'd actually get to enjoy your time, activities, and money spent. And to show how money hungry they are they don't do any promotions or work with discount groups. For example lagoon, corbellys, cross e ranch all have discounts with a google search and over multiple sites/sources. This place, none. Shame on Kuwaharas. Won't be back to line their...
Read moreI will be returning to this literal MAGIC KINGDOM of a PUMPKIN PATCH I am so at a loss for words here. First off- $60 ish for two people for over three hours of JUST EXPLORING and experiencing! There were performances of live DJs and dancers all up in the crowd. There’s a spooky downtown that has the jungle cruise vibe in the theme of terribly amazing jokes. The actors are all so nice and will always lend a hand if and when you get lost. There’s a really awesome balance of kid and teenager friendliness. The actual haunted house has an extra $15/person but it is so cool. The tacos are glorious and you’ll need a bathroom break eventually there’s porta potties pretty much everywhere. Picture opportunities are around every corner just do it before the sun goes down you’ll see in the majority of my photos that there’s weird lighting or scratchiness to it. There’s a little corn maze and most parts of the park have different smells it’s so so immersive. The pumpkin selection is unmatched here. They have everything from minis- to grey Frankensteins! They are purchased by the pound and not included in admission prices. There are also snack options all over with many dairy...
