Where to start, very very disappointed with my whole experience. We had an older lifetime basketball backboard that shattered and broke. We called the customer support, after sending photos and dimensions over email they took roughly 3 days to get back to me to tell me they don’t produce a backboard to fit my 4.5 inch pole that has lifetimes logo on it. They gave me a link to choose a backboard that would supposedly work, I picked one and bought it. Once I received it I hired a handy man to assemble it and put it together, little did I know that lifetime failed to mention I would need a new attachement system. Luckily there is a lifetime store near me so I went in gave my pole dimension once again and was sold an attachement kit. I went home to assemble it and it was the wrong size. I took it back to the store and they said that is all they make, I am still flabbergasted that lifetime doesn’t make anything to fit onto their own 4.5 inch pole. The store told me to go to Home Depot and find a certain part and just jimmy it. Home Depot didn’t make the part needed. We ended up having to hire a welder to come and weld it to the pole. As we finialzed the hoop we found that the kit that was sold to us had the wrong sized springs in it. Once again we ended up going into the store to find replacement springs, they had to order them in and told us they would call us when they came in. After being promised twice for a phone call when the springs arrived, I ended up having to contact lifetime myself to find out the springs had come in 2 days ago. Read moreI went to this location looking for a slide and play equipment with my daughter and husband, we thought the large displays were behind the store since the back door was open "assumed it opened up into a show room" it didn't. We realized our mistake and turned around to an employee that bluntly asked us "what are you doing?" I told her what we were looking for she told us "we don't sell slides separately and if you want to see displays fallow the grass on the side and they have to be ordered" I told her thank you and she walked away without a word. Beyond rude. All I could assume was that since we were walking fast she assumed we were up to no good. News flash the baby weighs around 40lbs not an easy carry and it's pretty hot today; I'm trying to get in give you money and leave; also why I would be up to no good with my baby I'm my arms is beyond me. Read moreThis rating is for the store manager or owner. We have lots of Lifetime products and we're very pleased with them. I came in to buy a shed in which they called to confirm availability. Shed was in stock so they put my name on it, ran my card for $2400 and off we went. I received a call the next day saying my shed was not available and some new guy messed up. They did not offer to order in the same shed, rather pick another one. No discount for screwing up and having me pick one I don't want. Hardly even an apology. Mr. Manager / Owner: In a time (especially right now) when everything can be bought online, show the customers buying products from your store some good old fashioned customer service.
