Edited to reply: Im clearly not complaining about policies. I understand policies. I’m upset because I called to verify BEFORE going to the store and I was told I was welcome to come in to get a stone wrapped anytime before 8. I took the 30 minutes out of my day to drive there just to be told “I’m not even going to look at your stone since it’s 7:01 and we can’t take it” Maybe the employees need to brush up on policies themselves. THAT was my frustration. Not the policies. Smh

I came to get a stone rewrapped and they told me “unfortunately since it’s 7:01, we can’t do it.” I then asked what time they close and they said 8. Last week I called AT 7, a man answered and said I was welcome to walk in BEFORE 8 to get this done. I don’t understand why it couldn’t be done when there is a whole hour left and they were doing nothing but standing there. Totally killed my vibe. I was looking forward to shopping around while that was being done and I decided to leave instead due to them. NOT...

I went there a couple days ago with my boyfriend as a date. I came in a bad mood because I had been working 15 hour shifts and left there feeling worse. Why? The employees (one named Madison, from my receipt) were so rude. I have naturally a higher pitched voice and I asked them a question and when I turned around, they whispered “she sounds like a child” and were overall just saying rude stuff behind my back. This shop is supposed to be an area of calmness, tranquility and spirituality. A way to explore/express religion as a Buddhist, and I felt none of those things while walking around. They were loud, laughing like crazy with their friends, were rude, and just generally not awesome to be around in this kind of environment. I got two crystals because I just wanted to get them matching with my boyfriend and got the hell out of there. Will not be going back, awful experience and I hope no one ever has to hear workers talk crap behind customers backs like...

I WAS a very loyal returning customer of lotus. I had been shopping here since it was located in the VF factory outlet mall and the staff he has now are nothing but beyond rude to the extent of following us around the entire store thinking we were pocketing items while I'm carrying our newborn in a car seat. Way to treat your veterans lotus..... Even after that we still decide to let our children get a fill a bag of crystals for 5.55 then we go up to the register and the little snotty girl that is always running it tells us the bag has to be able to close, when the bag was closed but you could barely see a stone peering through..... Didn't say anything at the display about the bag being able to close. It's really sad that a bunch of hipster girls are ruining your shop. The owner is and always has been awesome, but my family and friends won't be returning until the staff is reevaluated.

What a sad ending for what was supposed to be a fun experience for...

Based on the reviews, I wasn’t sure if they had beads or stones that could be used for stringing. The selection for mala necklaces was not very big, and the design of each one was not in a universal or traditional style. They also are not consistent with the quantity of beads/stones on each. A Traditional Mala should consist of 108 beads. The one I ended up purchasing has 11 too many. Tibetan, Buddhist Malas should have a three whole bead or stone that connects each side, and there was only a few with that. The selection of each stone on the malas was random and not universal. A lot of the Mala bracelets have a OM symbol which is fine for Hindu but not all Buddhism. I do have to restring my Mala prior to using it. I wish this store would do their research prior to selling items.

Lotus... I had no idea they were located right down the road from me until I typed into Google Maps - "Rough stone identification near me." I called, they said come on in, I went in the next day with a box of rocks, and they helped me identify all of them. Then, I left my box while I browsed their inventory. They have the widest selection of material and shapes I have ever seen in one place. They carry singing bowls, tarot cards, incense, and Palo Santo. And so much more. I think I probably looked like a kid in a candy store going from table to table somewhat in disbelief that I had searched for these stones and paid so much online, and they were all right here, and so much more. And coffee with your crystals... Can't ask for a better adventure. Thank you, Lotus!

Olivia and Lexi are THEE SWEETEST girls and so extremely helpful! I had so many questions and Olivia had an answer to everything. She went out of her way to get me cards for each of my crystals so that I could look back and remember what they meant. Lexi put a chain on one of my stones for me so I could hang it in my car and I LOVE IT! Thanks so much girls for making me (and my best friend) feel so taken care of and special today. You don’t know how much that means to me🩷
