I called Kim on very short notice in a panic. I needed a chef to cater an event the next weekend for my father's 70th birthday party. I wanted it to be very classy, but I was worried because I didn't have much time left to find someone. I found Private Chefs of Atlanta via a google search. After visiting their website and reading a couple of reviews, I decided to call them, and I am so glad I did. Private Chefs delivered big time. Kim and Troy are so NICE!! They are good people who are so easy to work with. They delivered as promised and in a very professional manner. Troy made sure the food was presented with elegance and style, and Kim helped to plan the menu. They are so patient, kind, and understanding. I made menu changes and increased the headcount all the way up until 2 days before the event. This was my first time hiring a personal chef/caterer, and they made it so easy and painless. Private Chefs of Atlanta is a culinary experience for the Atlanta foodie, courtesy of your own home. I have now attended 2 events and both were exceptional!! The presentation helps set the ambience and it feels like you are eating at a private chefs table, courtesy of your own home - just as the name implies.

At my last event, everyone had nametags heart-shaped name tags to show them where they would be sitting (we were grouped by our main course). On the other side of our name, we had the name of the event. I lost mine, but was looking forward to making it a Christmas Ornament. Even though we had our orders placed prior to the event, we had a lovely menu that showed exactly what you would be eating for the evening. However, before sitting down, hors d’oeuvres were passed around as drinks were served.

We had a 3-course meal and the service could not have been better. There was never an empty water glass. The food is always out of this world and the staff not only work well together, but their cohesiveness helps set the tone for the evening.

I will start off by thanking Kim for making a potential nightmare become a dream! I booked another personal chef several months ago for my husband’s 50th birthday surprise celebration on Christmas Eve. A week prior, the chef canceled! I was in panic mode being that it was only a week away, and I stood the chance of not finding anyone because of the date (Christmas Eve). However, I did a Google search, and came across Private Chefs of Atlanta! The owner, Kim, who I might add is about as classy and professional as they come; really had my business “at hello”. She was also very sympathetic to my situation and simply said “I will take care of you”. ...and she did!!!!! She booked Chef Hopeton for the private dinner, and he was AMAZING. The food was superb and my husband was elated. I can’t say enough of how pleased we were with the level of service, and the meal.
