I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent experience with your massage service during our girls' trip. I host these wellness-focused events 2–3 times a year, and this time we decided to try an on-site chair massage instead of our usual visit to the spa.
When I initially called, I explained that we had 10 women and asked for enough time to accommodate everyone. I was quoted two hours, which would allow for approximately 12-minute chair massages per person. That seemed reasonable, and we moved forward with the booking.
Unfortunately, when the two hours were up, both myself (the host) and one of our new guests were unable to receive a massage due to time running out. While I was willing to sacrifice my own session to make sure our guest was taken care of, she ended up receiving a very rushed massage, which left both of us quite disappointed.
While the therapist was reported to be skilled, the overall experience fell short. There was no initial introduction or explanation of the service; I had to take the lead in explaining things to the group. As a salon owner myself, I understand how demanding it can be to serve multiple clients, and we are a friendly, generous group who would have shown our appreciation with more generous tips—had the experience been more thoughtfully managed.
Additionally, it was mentioned that the therapist had another appointment nearly an hour away immediately afterward. It’s the company's responsibility to account for transition time, possible delays, and cleaning between clients. Unfortunately, that didn’t seem to be considered in the scheduling, which ultimately impacted the quality of the service we received.
We value self-care and relaxation, and while we were hoping this would be a convenient and enjoyable alternative to the spa, the experience left us feeling let down. Moving forward, we will likely return to our spa visits or explore working with an independent massage therapist who can better accommodate our group and uphold the level of service we’re accustomed to. I love supporting and patronizing businesses, I'm sadden to inform i will not be able to do so. I was offered 10% off, but personally this is not comparable to what disappointment I feel right now

   Read moreSpa Flow set up location at my work. I was looking forward to getting a free 10 minute massage. They had a nice set up and the employees looked nice enough and experienced. I’m sure they would’ve done a good job with the massage, but I will never know. The lady masseuse wouldn’t give me a 10 minute massage because I didn’t have a mask to put over my mouth and nose and wouldn’t go find one to wear for her. That is no way to run a business by turning away customers even those with a free offer. I am much more satisfied with the massages I get from my usual massage therapist without having to feel pressured into wearing a mask that contradicts my personal beliefs. I pulled several mobile massage companies in the area from a random online search for quotes and SpaFlow absolutely BLEW us away from the initial interaction to the end of the event.
