For context we scheduled two hours in advance. When we arrived 15 minutes before our room was supposed to start, the office appeared to be closed. Lights off, doors locked. I was told everyone left for the day due to it being slow but would have someone onsite for our room. The person showed up about 20 minutes after our scheduled escape time and when we entered the office was 90 degrees fahrenheit as if the AC had been off for hours. The room was not prepped and we waited in the lobby for an additional 15 or so minutes. By the time we got in to the room it had cooled down a bit and all seemed well. As we progressed through the first stage of the Area 51 section, we were not given a key component to the level and the employee had to come in during our escape and hand us the cane and electric car. Near the end of the level when we obtained the radio, it didn't play what it was supposed to play and the employee had to play the correct audio track through the TV. All in all, this was a pretty bad experience. I had family down from Nebraska and it was all of our first time doing an escape room. I do not believe I got my money's worth out of that experience and quite frankly I'm embarrassed that I took them here to begin with, but I hope you all are more embarrassed than I am.

First experience in an escape room and we LOVED it. The owner was helpful and explained the experience and instructions so well. We loved that there were a lot of story line options. We did the conflicted story and it was clean and just the right amount of challenge. We didn’t quite finish it in the allotted time but the owner came back in after time was up and gave us one clue so we could finish which just sealed the deal on an outstanding personal experience. The puzzles were family friendly and we plan to bring our older kids to try it soon. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!!!!

This was our very first time doing an escape room, so I knew very little. The owner of the place could tell our original room was a little to much for us and let us switch rooms to something that wasn't as challenging. This was also for my daughter's birthday and she made the whole experience for us just amazing!!! We would definitely recommend and would love to do it again. Thank you for an awesome 1st experience ❤️

I don't consider myself an expert when it comes to escape games, I just love doing them and I have about 25 under my belt. I am trying to find immersive environments, challenging puzzles, and cool interactions.

Thought Puzzles are rated based on difficulty. Interactive Puzzles are rated based on my impression of them.

Area 51(August 29, 2017; 25th Escape room; ????)

Thought Puzzles: Difficulty - 8/10 (There was a wide range of difficulty, some medium - some very difficult, It is a challenging room)

Interactive Puzzles: Impressions - 9/10 (There was some little interactions that we had to do. I have done 25 rooms and there were 2 in particular that I have never seen previously. Always exciting)

Visuals: 9/10 (Can't say much without giving it away, you'll just have to experience it yourself!) Audio: 8/10 (It was appropriate for the setting but either we were too into the game, or the volume was too low, but we didn't notice it too often!) Overall Immersion: 8.5/10

Minor hiccup with one of the props requiring the GM to come in and help reset, probably our fault, but most likely could have been avoided.

A great room for enthusiasts and beginners. If you want that creepy feel, but don't want to be scared, this is one for you. Highly recommend. Catacombs(August 30, 2017; 26th Escape Room; ESCAPED)

Thought Puzzles: Difficulty 7/10 (Pretty standard and a great room to start in or to challenge yourself. A nice mid-way point in escape games. There was one puzzle that was extremely challenging though)

Interactive Puzzles: 7.5/10 (Some interesting puzzles and used props/solutions that I haven't seen before or seen very few of. )

Visuals: 9.5/10 Very true to the name and should be really cool during Halloween. Audio: 9.5/10 Near perfect with how it was performed, not sure if some was intended but worked out amazingly. Overall Immersion: 9.5/10 Clue System: 9.5/10 (Communicate through TV, font hard to read at times) Venue: 10/10 (Very spacious, great for parties, lockers to hold items, puzzles to play with while you wait. Staff: 10/10 (I didn't get to meet all of the staff, but Mark the owner, and Hannah were both great and enjoyable to talk to and really helpful and accommodating..)

Overall Impressions: 5/5 Staff is friendly and helpful. Will recommend this to anyone. I haven't done all of the rooms, but look forward to escaping the...

We just did Area 51 and while we didn't eacape, we had a really good time. Lyndon (I apologize if I misspelled her name) was an AMAZING game master! She was funny and kind and helped us figure out the puzzles at the end we missed (we were super close but just couldn't get out). The only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is that I'm not sure if it was the other people we were with or the old owners, but I just couldn't figure out some of the clues or the rhythm to them (again could totally have been on my party, as two of us were having fun running around and the other two didn't seem to enjoy themselves). I believe we were told the place was just bought out and they were re-doing the rooms, so want to come back and try again for sure, already have our eyes on the...
