I went to riddles and was happy with the selection, but i had a bad experience when it came to resizing my brand new ring. I had a double band and had the one resized, no issue the first time. But needed the second band to be the same size and asked for the 2 rings to be fused together. At this point, the one ring was the correct size. I told them this and the ended up resizing the ring to an even smaller size (and at that point it no longer fit.) And on top of that, my ring was severly misshapen. When i took it back for them to fix the issue, the guy working on the ring was argumentive about it, saying it was "approved by the manager." Thats when angie showed up and saw how it was damaged from the sizing process and noted the size of the ring wasnt correct, even though i told him twice what the ring size was supposed to be. So now, i have to wait another 2 weeks for the ring so they can send it to somebody who can actually fix it now. I feel like riddles didnt address the issue professionally or timely and didnt take care of customer needs. Given thiswas a brand new ring purchased from them and they had the wrong ring size in their computer, theyshould have remidied the situation better. Since i've had the ring, its spent more time in their hands being worked on than on my own finger. From now on, i will stick with small jewelers like helker in platteville instead of dealing with noncustomer...

I had purchased from a different Riddle's location when I lived in a different city and was very happy with what I got, so when I was looking for a jewelry store in dubuque, it was my first choice. I browsed some other jewelers before making any purchase, but overall stuck with Riddles. To me they had the best selection and the most options for what I was looking for.

I put a request in online for a showing of one specific piece. The next day they called me and told me they had received that piece and we set up a showing. Angie and Kim both worked with me and couldn't have been more helpful. They had it ready when I got there and quickly picked up on my style and what I was looking for, and picked out several similar options. They were very knowledgeable and informative and made sure I considered every aspect of the piece before making a decision. I was very pleased with Angie's service and product knowledge. She asked my price range, what was I looking for and provided me with many choices. I was not sure about a necklace or ear rings as a gift so I browsed for a while and let her assist another customer. In the end, it was a beautiful necklace for my wife. Angie explained all the features on the necklace and did provide the price for it. It was more than I wanted to spend but I knew when I picked it out that was the one. My wife was very excited when she received it and she said it's a beautiful piece of Jewelry. I did stop back a few days later to purchase the warranty and to express my sincere gratitude for her assistance, excellent service and product knowledge.
