Fuji Asian Buffet — Restaurant in Dubuque

My family and I were there yesterday. We came from Illinois to visit. When we came across this buffet we very excited, everything was good until my boyfriend found a fly in the shrimp. A cooked fly in between the shrimp he was about to eat. I was eating shrimp too and we were so disgusted we immediately stopped eating. Mind you we didn't even finish eating.. my kids were still hungry but we stopped them from eating anything else. Our appetite was completely gone at that time. We called the waitress and she called another young lady who I would assume was in charge in that moment. My children were blurting out ewww there was a fly in daddy's food. We told them to stop because we didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable. I guess that wasn't even appreciated because when we were about to leave the young lady charged us $35. I was so confused as in why they would charge us after finding what we found. I just wanted to leave and get my children pizza. She even said the best I can do is give you a 50% off. I was very upset and she still made me pay I ended up paying $25 for eating food that contained flies. She said the manager wasn't there and that was the best she could do. How disappointing and horrible customer service. They obviously don't care about their customers...

Solid enough Chinese Buffet. Sushi never tastes fresh but then again it never does from a buffet or the grocery store.

High average freshness and replenishment of entrees and items.

Had just finished eating and within a minute was surprised by a waitress arriving at my table loudly barking, "YOU FINISH!? YOU PAY BILL NOW!" in heavy accent. It takes me an anxious second to realize it's just her accent and probably standard level of intensity for China but my gosh it was jarring lol. It's only one waitress they have that behaves this way and I noticed it was just her personal demeanor with all customers. I don't think she realizes how intense she is for us softies :) Anyway, you're in for a terrifying treat if you get her when it comes time to receive the bill :D

I've been here three times and out of all my Chinese buffet experiences ever anywhere I'd rank this place as high average with good reliability of quality. You feel like they care about the quality they put out in their food items. I feel that's generally the impression we hope for at a Chiness buffet and what satisfies us. Phenominal, literally everything is good and bursting with flavor even things you kind of just expect to be mundane give you a flavorful and very welcome surprise. I will state that I'm not a huge fan of fish so I cant realy give to much of a creedence to that side of things. But oh my lord everything else!

Tho I will say despite my usual distane for sea food the snow fish was a mighty exception. It was so juicy that the broth from the first bite could have reclassified the dish as a stew.

The coconut chicken is also gave off an impressive palette being having a taste somewhat similar to peanutbutter chicken but not being nearly as over powering as peanut butter tends to be.

And one of my personal favorites the honey chicken is a wonderful sweet chicken harboring to the flavors of the usual sweet and sour chicken but negating the latter with tact, keeping the sweet controllable so that the chicken and the pineapple mixed in can complement the sause and each...
