Horrible!!!!!! I love VS. I purchased online nice flannel PJs this xmas for my mother who is in her 70s. I paid $54.50 for them. The size was too small. The receipt says right on it that you can exchange or return at a store at no charge. My parents drove to the VS store in Kennedy Mall Dubuque the weekend after Xmas and fought the crowds to get the right size because she loved the PJs and wanted to wear them. They WOULD NOT exchange them for a different size. Not only that, they were so rude to her. They said "for all we know she could have paid $10.00 for them." Anyone knows VS never has pjs for $10.00. They told my mom it is their "policy". Needless to say, my mother left this store with $55 PJ gift that did not fit her. She was treated so rudely she was upset still when I talked to her about it. That is completely uncalled for. I wonder how she would feel if someone treated her elderly mother that way? The bright side... I called VS customer service. They sent out the right size overnight direct to my mother! No charge! She said that store was in the wrong and would issue a follow up to that store on my behalf. I spend a lot of money in the Dubuque VS store every year. I will NEVER shop there again. I believe in supporting the local business, but not if this is the service you get. All my shopping with VS will be done online or out of town...

I love the quality of your products. however ive recently been reluctant to shop in your stores because of how pushy and overbearing your employees have become. when I come into your store I want to take my time and look around at my own pace. your new policy of having your employees bother you every 5 min asking you if you need anything is very annoying . if I need help I will ask for it. greet me when I come in and let me find you after that. I have been bothered so much by your employees lately that I don't even like shopping here anymore. I would recommend changing this protocol otherwise I will not be giving this...
Read moreI shop regularly at VS - NEVER again at this one. Bought panties a week ago at another VS location, stitching came loose on one, simply wanted to exchange for the same pair at the DBQ VS. Store manager gave me a long list of excuses why the only way to do that was pay more at the DBQ location. I had the receipt, she couldn’t make her system reconcile it, so she was gonna charge me for the exchange. What?? That’s my 2nd bad experience with that manager not wanting exchange defective VS merchandise and then condescendingly referring to me as “honey” while she makes up lame excuses. BUYER BEWARE - I’ll never shop...
