We visited this location today because my kids insisted on skating rink and I wanted to try something different than our usual ones. While it’s nice and clean which is why I am giving it 3 stars is definitely not a place for a family at least not today. We started off with no parking, once inside the guy at entry did not know the prices and told us to go inside that someone else would ring us up. We went to get one pair of skates for one of my lil kids and they guy doing that station skipped us several times for people I am assuming he knew. We then had lots of security and metal check at entrance which gave me the impression is not safe and now I know why. I had my kids pushed and hurt several times by speeding teenagers.Lots of teenagers fighting/pushing cursing with no parents around. The small place was way overcrowded no place to sit and it was hard to get out as well with lots of people mainly loud teenagers hanging out in parking lot which I am assuming we’re waiting on parents. The rink is a bit small and again the overcrowd of teenagers acting up was definitely a big turn off, I’ve visited many rinks and at end of night I noticed this crowd also leaves their skates on floor instead of returning them even staff was annoyed that they made a few kids pick up skates, I saw at least 50 plus pairs on floor . Maybe it was just tonight or maybe just the teenagers but I seriously doubt it. Definitely not my favorite to bring my family with lil kids, If you have teenagers and you don’t mind dropping them off and picking up this would probably be their favorite place. I saw a few families that were in there not impressed either with the crowds of teenagers acting up, pushing and speeding without security or staff saying a single word. Again it was nice , clean and probably great for teenagers but definitely not for a family...
Read moreFantastic! The staff were nice, and helpful, even the teenagers. My kids have never been skateing before today. I couldn't have imagined a better first time experience. They were so so patient helping us get the correct size skates. It was so clean! The bathroom was in great condition, there was a public water fountain(perfect for wobbly little kids instead of cups), a nice young lady would come and clean every table as it was vacated. It wasn't too dark to see. The music was fun, and the DJ even played my family's favorite song by request! It delighted us to no end. We did not eat anything, but the food prices looked super reasonable. It's also FREE to have a party there?!?! And OHMYGLOB the price to get in is amazing. I believe its only $3 on Thursday. For $24 total, my kids had a ball for hours , got plenty of exercise and slept like tuckered out angels. Its cheaper than going to the movies, a hell of a lot cleaner, and kept my kids occupied for a long time and tired them out. When I was too tired to play anymore, I sat and played Rummy while my kids rolled about, and I could see all of them at a moment's glance. There are tons of places to sit, it's so laid back, nobody is rushing you out. From the moment you enter the large chamber, you can see every point in the room, all walls are waist high, so you can easily see ever member of your troup. So many calm happy parents getting to sit and talk while their kids played in a highly visible, very safe arena. I am beyond satisfied and will DEFINITELY be going back. I am so happy we...
Read moreAfter a not so decent experience at another Texas rink, we decided to give this place a visit. And boyyyeeee what a decent experience.
We were greeted at the front window by young gentleman. He smiled and welcomed us in. First impressions mean everything. Regardless of industry.
Since Valentine’s Day is around the corner, the place was decked out… entrance, snack bar, etc. They were ready!
It was a family session. There were a few parties going on and everyone seemed to know their role. From DJ to snack bar staff to party hostess. It was seamless.
The DJ kept us moving on the floor. The music was awesome as was the sound system. Not too loud but loud enough. No distortion or awkward audio buzzing.
The floor was a smooth roll. I was impressed by their back wall. It was just beautiful. Tastefully done. The disco ball display in the middle was so vibrant! Again, nailed it.
Along the floor was seating on one side. There were these little cubbies for all of your things.
We ordered a pepperoni pizza from the snack bar. It was a thin crust pizza and it was hot and tasty! And they also had Coke products. That’s a person win for me as many have contracts with Pepsi.
Everyone that we encountered was nice and professional. Thank you Bryan, Veronica and Derrick for everything that you guys do to keep skating alive! Keep up the...
