I hadn't been here before, but had left my regular Kroger's due to lack of safety. This Kroger's was still very casual about the deadly pandemic. No designated entrance and exit, no signage about safety precautions, and many customers unmasked as well as employees. Few options forced me into self check out, which I despise. There are 4 or 6 stations. Really close together. In a spectacular demonstration of ignorance about social distancing and social behavior in general, the designer of the store put the cashier stand right next to one of those stations. Bagging "area" is about 12 inches, and cashier station touches it. So when the cashier on duty had to assist someone, she was right in my space, within 2 feet. She wasn't masked btw. I had to back up, and the machine I was using began bleating and squawking at me about the next item, and there's no way to pause. And no one appeared to understand what the problem was. I was already very irritated with the store and it's casual attitude and the level of danger we were in, especially the children who were in the store with oblivious parents. I used my coupons at the end, and I guess that means a cashier has to come up in my space again...hate self check out, did I mention? I stepped way back, again, and told her I put them on top of the machine. She said "I've had my shots." Which means Kroger's isn't educating employees at all. That just means she can be a carrier. But I think I just told her that I have, too, but I also know 2 people that got it who were already vaccinated (true), and that I have put family and friends in the ground from this (also true), so she should be careful. And I told her that I know she didn't design the store, but they should move that stand, like OTHER Kroger's locations do. At the time of this review, Texas is running out of ventilators and beds in some areas again. Kroger's should be waking up and making shoppers and employees safer. This location has inherent...

Read moreI went to Kroger's last month and I needed a candy bouquet arrangement to put together for my daughter's birthday. And the woman really did not want to put it together she was really trying to get me to buy what they had already made. and I told her that is an Easter Arrangement and I needed a birthday arrangement for my daughter. She specifically stated to take the Happy Easter card off and put a birthday card on the arrangement I looked at her and walked off.
