My I-Phone was paid off a few months ago and then I started running out of storage, phone wouldn't take calls, etc. Very frustrated as I am a bit "challenged" on the electronic side. I needed to go in, I had no choice. I usually despise going into places like these, as I really know nothing about phones, just know I need them to text, make calls, e-mail and do a few other simple things. I went in and met "Brandon" who was very knowledgeable, patient and took his time understanding I didn't "get it " like most (younger) people would. I didn't want a bigger phone, so he picked one that would work for me, and then chose a bigger font so I could see it. Told me what size case to order and that when I came back he would set it all up and transfer all data as I had not been able to do it before. He understood that I exactly what I needed and did not try and "push" me into anything else I didn't want. Was kind, on time, efficient, and thorough. Again, he was kind! He did not judge that I didn't know a lot about phones, told me exactly when it would be in, what I could do with my old phone (I asked if I could have it wiped clean and donated to people in emergency situations to call 911) wrote everything down for me and spent way more time than I am sure was necessary, but it saved me from going back with questions. Very great person! Also "Devon" was there, also very kind and friendly. The place was very clean and neat and restrooms were clean. Met the manager whom I complimented on the great team he had working for him. All around a great business/location. ADD: I could have received more off of my new phone, but I chose to go to a "Russell Branch" as they spend more time with you and treat you as a person, not just to get you in and out. He started working to solve my cell phone issues by seeing if I had insurance, but then started working on another customer, then another customer, laying his stock phone down. Guess he was trying to solve easy problems. He later said he was waiting for the stock phone to download an app. to see if I had insurance. He wasn't being totally honest and eventually apologized. He really put me in a bad mood while I watched him work to solve those two customer problems. They walk out being served while he I am still waiting. He said your phone is dead and you have no insurance. Would you like to buy another phone. From you, yeah right!!! Not a good way to start the week. BTW I was told that phone was free of charge by the sales person when I got it. Then I find out it's only free if I stay with Verizon service. A little play on words. He had his hands full with me because I have never purchased a phone before, and I had one to trade-in for a rebate. He was very patient, kind and explained all the technical jargon in laymanās terms for me. Everything went smoothly, and I walked out of the store with a brand new phone. But not before he went over several questions I had and showed me some feature I may like to use. My most important application that I cared about was my strength workout app., Strong. We checked and it was there with all its data. However, the next time I used the app, my data had vanished. Panicked, I called Devon. He said come in and heād be more than happy to help me figure things out. He did and I was so grateful! Then, there was an issue with my trade-in, yet again he was respectful and diligent working with my carrier to ensure my application was accepted.
