We are huge on local resturants, but every time we come here it's a different challenge. Unattentive waiters, long waiting time for meals.....one time was an hour when everyone who sat down around us was in and out long before our food came, and not even a sorry or discount for wasting our time for food that wasn't even good.
There has been a couple times where everything was ok, but that doesn't account for the other 80% of the time when it's not. It's not a cheap place to eat for the quality.
Today I ordered a fajita skillet for breakfast, I asked for tomatoes As bread substitute, the waitress said they could not accommodate. Not even for fruit. Ok, so no bread or side. Got it, but i was told I could substitute the hashbrowns in the skillet for the breakfast potatoes, which a superior to the soggy hash browns we usually get. Cool. What I was not told was there was a 1.95 upcharge for them.
My husband got a chicken sandwhich and the waitress told what sides he could have, one of which was onion rings. We were not told there was a 1.95 upcharge for onion rings. We went on her recommendation.
Food came in a normal amount of time. During that time I saw a waitress put ice from a cup back into the soda machine instead of dumping it out.
My chicken in the skillet was so dry and salty I had to order jalapeños to try to combat the taste. Guess what.....a 1.95 charge for 5 slices of jalapeños.
The chicken sandwhich was dry and had mayo stopped on there to try to give it some taste. The onion rings were so thickly battered you could hardly bite thru.
Ridiculous. We weren't even showed the bill until after we paid. And of course we were charged more for using a card.
With all of the nickel and diming done, shouldn't I have gotten a discount for not getting bread with my meal? Seems only fair.
*1 chicken fajita skillet *1 chicken sandwhich *Multiple upcharges for things we were not aware would cost...
Read moreDOES NOT CARE ABOUT SOCIAL DISTANCING OR YOUR SAFETY CONCERNS REGARDING CORONA..We were hesitate to go out, given the situation, but decided to grab breakfast. We asked to sit outside, to avoid sitting near others. There was another elderly couple out there, so we sat a few tables away. The waitress came out and said she had a party of 8 that wanted to sit outside. It was a very small patio and we were spaced out appropriately. Both tables voiced our concerns, and the waitress said "Well, social distancing does not apply outside, and they want outside." She continued setting up their table, right in the middle of our table distancing. We got up and moved, and the older couple followed along. They were struggling to move everything (as they had a table full of beverages, food, and a dog) and the waitress ignored them and just continued on. We mentioned it again, and she rebutted with an attitude. Basically, saying to didn't matter what we all thought, those 8 people WERE going to sit there. Both of our tables asked for our checks, not caring about eating any longer. Sadly, this was right after our food was brought to the table. We all said we would never return to an establishment that had no consideration for our safety, ESPECIALLY the elder couple!!! To add insult to injury, another server then comes over, to discuss the situation. She said "I'll let you have your breakfast for free, if you do not leave a Google review." I laughed and said "I'll pay, thanks! I'm leaving this review." MAJOR safety concerns, followed by extortion. Well done! We will NEVER return there. Obviously, they have zero concerns about this pandemic....
Read moreI gave 3 stars because it was memorial day and pretty busy so I give benefit of the doubt, however... My experience was definately not great. When me and my kids arrived it was really busy so I asked a guy to write my name on a list and let us know when it's our turn. We'll, after 15 min waiting outside I walked in and sat down with the kids in the waiting area and as people were flooding in I walked up thank God and asked the guy behind the counter if my name was on the list because by this point it's been 30 min. Guess what??? My name wasn't written down! Well, I waited a few more minutes because it is memorial day and I understand a wait. So, we get sat at a booth and the people behind us did as well. Then, the other 2 people behind me were approached first. Okay, didn't say anything just a little annoyed. Then, they finally get to my table we order and everyone else who walk in behind us got food and were paying to leave and were still waiting lol. I just asked to get our food to go because I already spent over an hour. I felt bad for the waiter because it wasn't his fault. I get home and my bacon was so burnt that it was flaking and hurting my teeth! The omelets didn't have meat or cheese inside them it was on top. The potatoes were out of the bag from the store, because I cook the same ones lol. For being almost 50.00!! I'll...
