We were ordering a pizza for our kids and inquired about the spice level. The person on the phone (Keegan?) unkindly assured that there was no spice on the pizza. When we received the pizza, the kids dug in and to our surprise, there was crushed red pepper ALL OVER the pizza! Called back to inquire if this was intentional or not and the same woman curtly denied putting any spice on the pizza. Asked to speak with a manager and was told they were not available. She did, however, offer to remake the pizza, to her credit, but an apology or some sort of ownership over the incident would have been preferred. 1 year old and 5 year old experienced their mouths on fire immediately after eating the pizza.
Hopefully this was an honest mistake, but the way it was handled made it feel a bit personal and deliberate.
