Came across this place while walking through the town center of Dunlap, TN. Wonderful atmosphere and impressive upkeep of the vintage building authenticity. The lady at the checkout counter who guided us was warm and friendly. She directed us to sales and shared about the musician stage they are working on to have local artists. Visited the Dunlap Mercantile today, our first visit during the “A Down Home Dunlap Christmas” Shop Hop. Very interesting store with so much precious history. They seem to carry a very diverse inventory. Books, hats, boots, vest, jackets, hats, coats clothing of all sorts; lots of items of interest to both men and women. And hats too.
