Cash America Pawn — Local services in Dunlap

I usually have great experience at this shop in Dunlap. Today was a different story and did not care for the guy whom tried to accuse me of peeling off a price sticker after I asked him where the price was on a pool cue I was looking to make a deal on. He's asked another employee how to look for a price and he pointed to the floor where a box that came with the cue was that had the price tag that "I peeled off." I got no apologies for his mistake. When I made the statement to my father "they want 500 for the cue, that's new price" the guy got smart and said actually that cue is $1000 new, When in fact it's not. It's 580 give or take new. I know this because I'm huge into billiards and know my stuff, and insulted my intelligence in a field I'm familiar with.

Anyways, I did not like his attitude to start and made me feel like I was a p.o.s. he lost a sale...

Wow, thought things were going pretty good, I brought in 4 flat screens I didn't need. I was told 136.00, I said ok didn't need them. She asked for the manager to be able to get my cash, it then went down to 75.00. Asked why the big diff. Manager said this clerk was newer and they would not give that much,cause Wal-Mart sells them so cheap.. OK... I said since I was given a price of 136 at lease kinda split it with me and give 100. No way she replyed.. I took the 75 because I really didn't need them and they were in my way stored in my garage, and a course it was raining. What I learned was that even that additional 25 they would not give, is a small amount of money to have Learned to stay out of the dunlap U.S. money pawn shop. I took in several high end watches to sale. Was offered $25 dollars for a watch that on Ebay goes for $593 and new runs around $950. This isn't the first time this place tried to cheat me. If I wanted to be insulted I would have called my ex-wife. I wouldn't have brought anything here but I am going through a rough spell financially. I pawned an AR-15 here once for $100 and they said I could get it back easily. I returned on payday to find out I had to have a background check to get my own firearm that I had bought legally and the background check came back with a hold the state after I argued gave them the go ahead and then they still wouldn't let me have it.
