HORRIBLE, RUDE AND DISORGANIZED!!! Tried to exchange items with no help from anyone! The assistant manager Denise is rude and disrespectful. The Manager J Wilkins was no help. The cashiers make mistakes and no one seems to have any customer service. If management has no business sense then how can they expect the cashiers to do their job correctly! No one has any trainning. The store is basically running its self. I have contacted coparate office on this store and will keep going further if my problem does not get resolved. I bought $230.00 worth of clothing for my fiance' on 10/7/13 and returned the items with all tags attached and my receipt on 10/8/13 to exchange the items she couldn't wear. The cashier stated the tags didn't match the receipt! ??? What do you mean I was just here last night...the assitant manager states that some of the tags of the pants rung up as a sweater...again what? I am the customer not the sales floor stocker I don't understand how that is my fault. The tags are attached to the clothes that I purchased the night before all I would like to do is exchange these items, but after no one had any quality customer service skills I called my fiance' to call coporate on these people who clearly are rude and unhelpful. Clearly it is a lot of errors in the conduct of the workers at this store. Starting with the person responsible for inventory, the cashier who clearly rung the items up wrong, and the the managers who clearly could not handle this matter responsibly! I hope this store gets a complete make over and the district manager comes in and straighten this store out!!! Looking at the other reviews this store is definitely headed for DISASTER! My family will never shop at this store again and I will make sure to I spread the word of how horrible this store is to make sure no other consumers are done wrong by a company that hires rude, disrespectful and completely unorganized employees. I made a return this week and was startled by the loud and continuous rudeness of the check-out clerk. I hadnât said anything, other than telling her I was making a return. She moaned, spoke rudely, made snide looks at me, and became visibly angry when I asked her about an item on the receipt. I was in shock the entire time and couldnât figure out what I had done to make her so irritable. At the end I said to her, âYou know, I didnât do anything negative here. I donât understand why you are being so rude to me.â She just moaned loudly again and gave me a harsh look. So I asked to speak to her manager. All while I spoke to him she continued to make these loud, irritated soundsâŚlike her goal was to humiliate me in front of the entire store. I explained to him what happened and asked if thatâs how he wanted employees to treat customers. He just had this âdeer in the headlightsâ look and only offered to check me out at his cash register. He made no apology or offer of understanding. It was baffling! Like he was scared of his own employee.
TJMaxxâŚDo you value customer service? Do you care how your customers are spoken to? I was always taught by my parents and my employers to speak to people with kindness and respect. The behavior of your cashier was rude and humiliating. It was unprofessional and ridiculous. I hadnât even done anything that could have remotely been annoying! It was as though she was just angry to be working. I know that keeping employees is not easy these days, but retaining anyone who is rude and aggressive to customers is just stupid and bad business. I guarantee I was not the only customer treated badly by her that dayâŚand likely any other time she worked.
TJMaxxâŚYour managers should know better and do better. They should not stand for rudeness by their employees. This was hands down the worst customer experience I have ever hadâŚand just baffling. It was just rudeness for the sake of rudeness.

   Read moreVery rude cashier! Today I went to tjmax the one at oak creek village shopping center in Durham NC .There is cashier lady was absolutely rude. While I was waiting in line, I been watching how she was working very unhappily. Unfortunately she called me to her register. Then she was trying to scanning the items , Some how she told me that her register wasnât working, she wants me to move to another register. Which is perfectly fine. So I nicely asked her which one she wants me to move to? Then she started staring at me and with very rude body language said to me âcan you wait? How I know which one?â Which was very rude! Then I felt offended. I said to her if she is not happy with her job , she should figure out something else ďźI came here for shopping not for watching her attitudes! Obviously she is not happy with her job! Even though she should be professional! Then the manager came asked what happened, did apologize to me. The cashier still thinking she did nothing wrong! The one of the reason I want to leave this review is, There was an very old gentleman at register one which we were at register eight, he doesnât even know what is going on ,he didnât even hear what the cashier said.
