La Monarca Michoacana Ice Cream — Restaurant in Durham

I stopped by trying to check them out because they have had a sign FOREVER saying they were coming. Over a year and a half later they are finally here I let them be open for almost a month before going so they can work thru their kinks. I stopped by at about 2-215 on a weekday making sure to miss the lunch business. When walking inside it’s much bigger than I expected looks beautiful but sadly the service was way below standards. I do not speak Spanish but that doesn’t stop me from supporting. I stood by their drink station for like 10 mins waiting for service to get a drink after 5-7 different lady employees looked at me without acknowledging me nor trying to take my order I left. They were not busy at all they had 2 ladies they were helping so I was patient but when they helped a Hispanic lady that came after me before helping me I decided to leave.
