Read moreHandicapped Parking right in front of the door BUT OOPS, that door has a big sign saying you must enter through the main door which is around the side of the building where the parking leaves you downhill from the high curb to the front door - not so handicapped friendly! The Margarita initially tasted like orange juice and then the flavor of lime rind & pith kicked in - didn't even finish it. My Flautas (4 small tortillas rolled and fried (2 chicken, 2 beef) were served with about a tablespoon each of sour cream and guacamole in the center of the plate on a small pile of shredded lettuce.....and nothing else....listed as an entree for $13. Partner ordered Steak Fajitas (also $13). They were pretty good - certainly not the best he has had but also not the worst. However, he asked for double beans and no rice and got, instead, a few spoonfuls of beans and half a plate of rice. He, too, got a tablespoon each of the sour cream and guacamole, also on shredded lettuce. Service was so-so. All-in-all very disappointing as we are fairly new to Durham and were hoping this would turn out to be our "go-to" for Mexican food. Undaunted, we will continue our search......elsewhere! Oh, yes - the music is...

One person in our party of four ordered a fajitas chicken salad and it came with chicken seasoned in typical Mexican restaurant style which is fine but it was on top of iceberg lettuce and nothing else and she brought two packs of dressing one was thousand island and one was fat-free Italian. The person with the salad asked if there were other dressing options the waitress shrugged and said ranch. she got mad at me because I did not understand her pronunciation of Pepsi. She didn't refill our drinks. The person in our group who had the salad asked her about refilling the drinks and she said that some people don't like to be bothered with getting their drink refilled. Then with the check they charged us percentage because the person who paid use the card and then charged us a gratuity automatically and it was just a party of four. I don't blame her really because I don't think most people would have tipped, we would have, but the service wasn't just bad it was like she was mad at us about something. As for the atmosphere imagine the tackiest Mexican restaurant possible, but not in a fun way,...
