Bojangles — Restaurant in Durham

Went through the drive thru. Long line and waited a while. But i was in no rush and was looking forward to eating Bojangles food for the second time. In my opinion: Tail-gate family meal (feeds 4): The chicken was crispy and hot, even after driving home to eat. The portions of the chicken were very generous. Definitely liked the chicken!

I was a bit let down by the sizes of the sides, mainly the mac n cheese. The container (to-go) looks big, but the convex lid takes up space inside the container. Which means less food. Also, the bottom of the container is raised up inside the container. Which again means less food. The container holds 2 cups of water (I measured). I highly doubt 2 cups (16 oz) of mac n cheese feeds 4 people, much less 4 adults. The recommended serving size for an adult of macaroni pasta is 1 cup of cooked pasta. This is for people watching what they eat, definitley not me.

Was the mac n cheese good? It's okay. Was it the best? No.

The chicken is definitely worth the value, unless they give you a bunch of chicken wings, then your screwed.

Next time, I would buy the chicken and make my on mac n cheese. The mac n cheese made by Kraft taste just like the one at Bojangles makes. It probably is the same, boiled pasta mixed with a cheese sauce out of a bag.

In conclusion, the tail gate meal does not feed 4 adults. If it does, please post a picture along with actual portion sizes...LOL!!! It will if they eat chicken and a little bit of one side, but not both sides. It will leave you wishing for a bigger side portion....

I visited this location 5/13 around 9:50pm. The line was extremely long which is to be expected. The service was not quick at all! While waiting in line the vehicle ahead of me food was dropped. When I approached the window I asked the young girl if my 12pc tender box included fries because I only saw biscuits on the menu. She rolled her eyes and closed the window before going to ask a co worker. The co worker came to the window and asked if I wanted the box or tailgate and I confirmed what I had ordered. I stated I just wanted to know if there was anything other than the tenders she dismissively stated no. The first cashier returned and I told her I asked because I wanted to be clear on what I was getting. She continued to have an attitude and just repeated the total instead of apologizing for her behavior. When i got home i discovered then did not include the biscuits or my sauce. If these girls have a problem doing their job then they shouldn't be employed in retail because simple questions should not be given that type...

Would give it zero stars if I could. Placed my order with the App,when I arrived at the scheduled pickup time, it took several minutes to be acknowledged by the staff,a young lady working the drive thru, no other workers were in sight on a Sunday morning at that. When I was finally acknowledged, I had to wait approximately 30 minutes for two Cheddar Bo biscuits and an egg and cheese biscuit. The only reason I did not walk out was that I had family visiting from out of town and they requested Bojangles,as it is not available where they live,and I already paid for the food in the App and did not feel like going through the hassle of a refund . Once the food was finally ready, I attempted to ask the young man that brought it to me about the delay,and he just walked away, I also had to ask several times for condiments and napkins. The worst part of it all, the food was burnt!each biscuit, by this time,family was well on their way on the road. SO DISAPPOINTING BOJANGLES!! DO BETTER AND GET MIRE...
