Hostess are way to young to run the front of house. I tried to call 4 times and was put on hold for five minutes 2/4 times Red Crab actually picked up. I eneded up ordering at Red Crab to-go. Nadia and Michael (a female) were dry and-ill mannered. I was told to wait somewhere else for my to-go order instead of being offered to sit at the bar. Naidia then questioned me what did I order abruptly as I was on the phone. An "excuse me" would suffice. Because I do not know what she said given that I was on the phone. I cannot believe the aidacity of Felix to sit and TELL me that I've been here before throwing my card at the hostesses. My two times coming prior to I have paid at the table and used cash. This is my third time EVER coming here and it'll be my very last. I found it ironic how only Felix and the two other hostesses only recognize me. I believe the hostesses and Felix already had a preconceived notion about who they thought I was and I am not that person so it was very disrespectful to be told that I have already been to their establishment multiple times being disrespectful towards the hostesses I feel I was treated as if I was the bad person and in fact this is my only time ordering to go and it was such a terrible experience. I sat and talked to Felix for over 15 minutes about how he adamantly remembers me multiple times coming here and having issues I tried to let Felix know that he has me mistaken for somebody else, he apologized for thinking I was someone else while in the same sentence saying he has seen me multiple times. It was very fustrating to have this conversation. While speaking to Felix I was told that everything thing I had to say about his staff was untrue, I understand having your staffs back but to blatantly lie is absurd. I feel as if I was handled in a manner of being a problem and in reality this is my first experience. If you are handed money/card in your hand then I feel it should be delivered in the same way it was recieved, however Felix felt it is ok to hand it back however at the hostess area. Felix let me know he watched me the entire time of me walking in and talking to them, I really feel as if they actually believe I am another person and treated me as such. It was a very uncomfortable experience and unsettling to know I was being watched since the moment I walked in. They treated me as if I was a regular that they've encountered before and thats why I think this exchange was terrible. At the end of our conversation Felix asked me "Do you want your money back or not" the disrespect I received here is like no other. Please do not come here, they'll target you for a crazy person and judge you based on...
Read moreWe ordered two different crab leg meals, both came with a pound of crab legs each. We get our order home and discover the extra corn that we paid extra money for was left out. We also discover that my bag was packed with 1 cluster, which does not equal a pound. The other bag was packed with 3 clusters (with two of the clusters only having two legs on them), which we assumed was the pound that was supposed to be in the bag. So I return to the restaurant, famished because I'd had a long day and hadn't eaten dinner yet. I explain to the hostess, and then manager(?), the above. The maybe manager keeps saying it's weird that I didn't have 3 extra corn because he checked the bag and was sure it was in there. It's ok to say it once maybe, but multiple times? As if I'm lying about 3 half ears of corn? Drove all the way from my home back to the restaurant to cheat the establishment out of 3 half ears of corn?? Just apologize and replace it, because to continuously repeat you checked the bag and it's weird the corn isn't there now is calling me a liar. As to the crab, the maybe manager replied, oh, the other bag had 3 clusters, so one was yours. I told the maybe manager that the other person ate the clusters that were in their bag believing, as anyone would, that it was theirs to eat. The maybe didn't care and didn't offer to correct the restaurant's mistake, which left my order with LESS food than I PAID for, because THEY incorrectly packed the bag. I had to suffer for THEIR mistake. 1. Who is that cheap over a crab cluster, especially when I had to waste my time and my gas to go back because of their mistake? 2. Who values a crab cluster over good customer service, positive reviews, and correcting THEIR mistakes so that the customer doesn't suffer for their shortcoming? 3. Who packs someone else's bag with a portion of someone else's food, then (apparently) expects the people to get home (if they are even going to the same place), and to figure that out? Especially since we ordered our sauces differently. 4. The maybe manager ADMITS knowing there were 3 clusters in the one bag, and only 1 cluster in my bag. Hmmmmm, so why would you knowingly send the order out incorrectly??? Just total incompetence and/or uncaring. Very disappointed with this experience. Will NOT be returning, will not recommend, but will advise people I know to...
Read moreReally tasty food and nicely decorated restaurant. However, we left very disappointed and will never return. After we had already ordered our food, the music playing turned very loud and inappropriate for a family restaurant. It was impossible to enjoy our dinner while being forced to listen to obnoxious club music. It was intolerable! Furthermore, our server, Shaq, was very inattentive. We never received the appetizer we ordered, so we cancelled that when he brought us our meals. Then he never brought us the lemons and butter we asked for with our meal. In fact, he only returned to our table once during our meal, which was after we had gotten the lemons from another waitress. My husband then asked him for a refill, which he got. But it would've been nice to have also brought one for me as well. We were there for almost an hour and he checked on us once? We saw him checking on his other tables a few times and honestly felt quite discriminated against. We were about to walk up to get our check ourselves when my husband decided to go wash his hands first. Then Shaq dropped off the check. Really? My husband and I are generous tippers. We are not complainers and only expect our server to do their job: Be available, get our order right and they can expect at least a 20% tip. I hope Shaq learns if he would like more than a dollar tip, then he either needs to address his lack of service or find another career. If we had noticed an owner or manager while we were there, we would've expressed our concerns to them. The food is great. Such a shame that it was completely ruined by the lack of service and insufferable music! I would recommend Red Crab for...
