Kohls is alright, but the credit card is horrible, I signed up for 1 to save some money, and I made the biggest mistake ever, I put the balance on the card, or actually the lady at the register put the balance on the Kohls credit card.
So there is no way to pay the bill. You need the credit card to make an online account to pay the bill, which doesn't come for like a month ... and I finally got the credit card and made a Kohls account, but there is another website for paying the bill outside of even that account, and that website acts like you don't exist or errors our, so I contacted customer service chate and they are just bots that don't actually do anything... So you have to call the number and some lady with a very heavy accent was trying to help me, they make you link your bank account over the phone so have you routing and checking number handy.
So I finally got it all set up, and the customer service ladies' microphone started glitching out really bad, but I'm already 46 minutes into this call and I just keep saying Yes to everything, I just said Yes and Pay The Full Balance and apparently that worked.
Never ever ever again would I charge anything on that horrible card.
I'm studying to get my Computer Science degree, so if I can't get the website to work, I feel sorry for all the people who have less patience and experience as me.
Tell your Web Devs that their website architecture is garbage. Put the payment system on the main site. Even if rerouted to another server, it should carry the login information with it.
It's not 2001! Spend $1500 and update the system for...
Read moreI don't usually go to this particular Kohl's, and I was disappointed. The store's wayfinding signage was very poor; I had to wander around to find the dressing rooms. And when I finally did, the floors were filthy! I didn't even want to try on jeans because I didn't want to put my stocking feet on that floor. Even though there were baskets and a rack by the door, a lot of the dressing rooms were full of clothing people had tried on and left. I also felt the inventory was low. Kohl's usually has a great purse selection, but there wasn't much to choose from. But I did find a couple of items to purchase, and one of them was on clearance. At checkout, I was surprised to find out the clearance item was half off the marked price! I don't recall seeing a sign to that effect anywhere. I might have focused a little bit more on the clearance racks if I had known that.
On the positive side, the returns desk was very well-situated. By luck, I walked in the door right by the customer service desk in the front of the store. I had to return an internet order, and I was very glad not to have to hike to the back of the store to return my item, (as with the Kohls in Roseville). And the staff that I did interact with were all...
Read moreI will never shop kohls again. Never. Especially this location. Back in the late 2000s to buy a coat with my mother. As we were getting ready to check out the cashier asked me if I wanted to sign up for their charge card, now because I had a guardian at the time and because my parents warned me about credit cards I asked them specifically if it was a credit card or a rewards card. They told me It was a free rewards card and I didn't have to pay for anything but the jacket. Satisfied with the answers, I proceeded to buy the coat with my debit card and left. Later I get a bill for the entire cost of the coat. And I am confused because not only did I use my debit card but I had enough money at the time as well. Later it turns out they tricked me and signed me up for a charge card. Wanting to be done with it I decided to go in and pay when I could, and I thought that was the end of that. Turns out they continued to charge the card even though I no longer had any chargers their. And because of my credit is ruined. I know I'm a couple years late but I wanted to let everyone know if my experience. I will never step foot in another kohls as...
