Read moreAbsolutely not ever again. The reviews were very misleading. First, the place was completely empty when we got there. I ordered shrimp fried rice & my son ordered the "special." I guess that was supposed to include chicken, pork, and shrimp. See the photo of the shrimp that was in the rice. Seems they had two shrimp and cut them into tiny pieces then threw them in the rice. Not sure what kind of meat was in there but it didn't look like pork or chicken. And the rice was white. It had no flavor like soy sauce nor did it taste like they fried it in a wok or even a pan. It was like boiled rice with half an egg, some mysterious meat, and maybe 6 tiny pieces of cut up shrimp honestly they were the size of a finger nail. My son had a few bites hoping it would get better, but after about 6 bites he was done. I ordered shrimp fried rice and received something else. He said it was chicken but I can assure you that wasn't chicken. I had to drown my rice in soy sauce to give it any flavor or color. Oh and the rice only had small pieces of cut up green onion. No peas, carrots, bean sprouts... He apologized & said, "oh they must have heard me wrong." I assume he was talking about the cook. It took 30 minutes to get the food. Which seemed long for a restaurant that had zero people there.
Oh and when we got there a girl had ordered a bag of food. He brought it out and she had no way to pay. Apparently she lost her card and he didn't accept apple pay. He let her take the food and told her not to ever come back. That was nice of him to let her take the food. It wasn't worth the money anyways.

Read moreIf I could give 0 stars i would. We went by at 1:55 - just inside their lunch special timeframe that ended at 2. Waiter told us that the lunch specials were over when we tried to order. The price for lunch jumped $5 + per person. After contemplating for 30 seconds we decided to go to Panda Express across the road and get a 2 entree and noodles plate for the cost of the lunch special at Saigon. Frankly it was probably better food anyway - and at the price we expected to pay at Saigon. Greed is not a business owners friend - but customers and good experiences are. Instead of getting around $20 from the 2 of us for a lunch special and a drink, Saigon tried to up that to $30 + for us to eat lunch. Not a very good business move since they ended up with $0.00 and an Eagan family that will never go there again. We order Crystal Jade delivery and enjoy it every time, so we'll stick with them and Panda. Classic Saigon, run by not so savvy people - that's why it is never really busy and there is no "buzz" about it being a place people should try. I would recommend Crystal Jade or for quick service and a good meal Panda Express. 2 o'clock means 2 o'clock, not 1:55. You missed out on our money and I hope you miss out on a lot more - it's what...
