I bought a new Redman home last year and moved in at the end of July I found a list of stuff that was wrong with the home in the first month of having and emailed the list to the broker (Ralph's Homes Waldoboro,ME) on 8/28/24 and received a email back from them the next day confirming they sent the list to Redman one of the repairs needed was the master shower glass leaked extremely bad and we ended up with water damage around the shower another major item was one of the granite countertops was broken in the corner so after not hearing anything for a month I emailed them asking for a update on 9/27/24 I received no response so I emailed again on 10/18/24 and did not receive a response from the broker until 10/25/24 saying they reached out to Redman to get a service date on 11/11/24 I reached out to them again for a update no response on 12/11/24 I received a email from the broker saying they would be scheduling the repairs in the next 7-10 days. I received a phone call at the beginning of January 2025 and they scheduled the repairs for the end of January when they came fixed the shower and replaced the granite countertop however the granite pattern did not match the original was grey/black/white with a large pattern the piece they put in is just grey and white with a tight pattern and the countertop overhangs the cupboards 1" more than the rest of the countertops when I emailed them telling them it wasn't right they did not respond I called them 2 months later and they simply said "there are variances in the granite and theirs nothing we can do" now I'm left mismatched countertops in a brand new home I would not recommend buying anything from...

I purchased my Champion single wide manufactured home FOUR YEARS AGO BRAND NEW from Edison Mobile Estates here in New Jersey and my SHINGLES are already coming off my roof. This house is supposed to be BASICALLY NEW. This is why Champion only gives out a ONE YEAR WARRANTY on these homes. There is also a TEN YEAR WARRANTY that is issued at purchase, but they cover SPECIFIC things on the house.I've had other issues with this home. For example, I had to THROW AWAY my bedroom closet doors because they were rotted after TWO YEARS of having this house. It cost me $211 ( with tax from 1800GOTJUNK) for just 2 WOODEN DOORS!! NOT HAPPY about that day. I spoke to the USELESS representative Shelby in the Service Department and " YOUR PATRONIZING TONE IS DULY NOTED" Now I have to come OUT OF POCKET to rectify an issue that was probably a production DEFECT. Since we moved in, floor squeaks, leaking roof, we have already replaced carpeting, replaced electric range, major issues with the electrical system (have had three electricians in the home). Furnace is so noisy we can’t hear the television when running. We had to replace a very loose, drafty window, after Redman had already replaced two others. A toilet has needed work. We have two neighbors with Redman homes that have many, many issues. One was just delivered this past week and the repair guy is still there. My calls to the company were useless, couldn’t speak to anyone in management at Champion Homes, only a secretary who I’m sure just threw my complaint in the trash. Nothing ever happened.
