Pass It On! Consignment — Local services in Ephrata Township

I'm from Los Angeles and moved out here to be close to my mother. I had a store in LA and brought all of my inventory out here but decided to open a salon instead so took my inventory to a little consignment place that my mom said she knew of. In total I took 54 items and signed the contract agreeing that I would pick up the clothes that didn't sell rather than have them donated like they claimed they did. So before the deadline I went to go collect my unsold clothes which they told me I had to pull myself from the shelves. Didn't make sense because if they really donate the things that don't sell,shouldn't they have been off of the Shelf and ready to go to donation? Sounds to me that they donate to themselves. So I searched the shelves for my unsold items and found very few I asked the girl at the front desk where the rest of my stuff was and she told me they may have had holes or have been sold already. Which wouldn't I have been paid for the things that have been sold and I know for a fact I didn't take anything to them that was damaged. I waited for my check for months and it never showed. I had to call them twice to get it sent to me and when I received it finally which was months and months later it was for $60 which would mean each of my items sold for $0.66 each. Nothing in their store even the clearance item were priced at anything close to $0.66. I would rather have thrown my inventory away then to have given it to this mismanaged run down dingy wannabee boutique that is ran by a theif. My advice is take your stuff to a more organized cleaner place like Plato's Closet this store is in the middle of nowhere and in an industrial area for a reason.Should have known...

Good place to shop the sale rack. Otherwise a bit pricey. Not a good place to consign your merchandise. Owner wouldn't give me a receipt to leave my clothing. I did get one in the mail about a week later. I really shouldn't have left my clothing without a receipt. I specified I did not want my items on the sale rack or donated. They never called me and got rid of 3 of my items. However, they did pay me the agreed upon price, which was pretty decent of them, but I won't bring items there in the future for them to...

Great find!!! Popped in out of curiosity ... I wasn't disappointed ... Some very NICE clothing ... Children's area had some nice things too ... Would b great 2 see more items, bigger selection ... DONT 4get !! This is a CONSIGNMENT shop!! SO bring in those GENTLY used items & get some $$'s...
