Record Connection — Local services in Ephrata Township

The wonders of finding out-of-our-way gem of a store such as this! We passed by this place on our way to Ephrata town proper and debated whether we should turn around to check it out. One of the best on-the-fly decisions we did while travelling!!

Upon entering we quickly noticed that this store is organized -- CDs are in a separate section from the LPs, and it has a dedicated Singles room! And to put the bar higher, they categorized the LPs according to genre PLUS it's alphabetical all the way down to each artist!! This is so cool as it makes the hunting of those desired albums way convenient!

As of this writing it's a few days before Christmas so they have a section for those albums, from the classics to the current artists. The classics are dirt cheap! And the kicker is that they're in pristine condition (at least on what we got). No scratches or skipping.

Lastly, it's worth noting that this store implements its own Vinyl Grading System so the customer knows what it's getting. Neat, and honest!

Seems to have every record you could imagine. The records are inspected and rated on a scale of quality, and the prices are pretty good. I bought a record, several 45s, and vinyl cleaning supplies here, all for a good price. I went home and played my records, and they weren't lying about the quality. However, the cleaning supplies were definitely needed for the amount of dust on the 45s. The store has a lot of inventory, yet it's all very well organized. This is, hands down, THE best record store I've ever seen. It is so well stocked. I marveled at the artists and merchandise available, things I've never seen before - except through Amazon or other online sources. They're here, including some obscure bands I follow were available. The proprietor is a pleasant, patient fellow who was readily available to answer questions or steer me in the right direction when I needed it.
