I came in looking for a front fixing bracket for drawers.
I asked three different associates for help.
One gentleman walked me to aisle 13, along the way we run into an associate that specializes in the hardware department (long blond hair, a bit older). We stop her and show a photo of the product and ask where we can find it. She stated aisle 13 midway on the left brushing us off. The gentleman told me she was supposed to escort me and show me where the front fixing bracket is but didnāt. Instead he walked me to aisle 13 and showed me where it might be to the best of his ability considering itās not his department.
I looked through the aisle thoroughly and where they suggested it might be was the āCabinet Hardware - Drawer Slidesā section. It was not there.
In another attempt to get help I asked Clay at the front in the returns department where I can find drawer front fixing brackets and he pointed me to aisle 13 again and I explained that I have been in that aisle for quite a while and was not able to find what Iām looking for and would prefer someone to guide me directly to the product.
He paged someone for me to aisle 13 and no one showed up to the aisle to provide any guidance.
Iām not sure if the issue is related to lack of staffing but many associates are quite literally standing around but canāt provide customers any help⦠it doesnāt really add up. I mentioned to Clay on my way out to please pass a message to management stating the customer service here needs improvement as 3 different associates werenāt able to help locate a product and redirect back to the customer multiple times.
This is the difference between Loweās and Home Depot⦠at Loweās there are associates who actually care to help and will not just brush you off after 3 attempts to find the same product, customer service.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreTypical poor service at the Home Depot. I went to the store looking for a replacement light bulb for a fixture in my kitchen. I brought the old/dead bulb with me to make sure that I bought the right replacement. The light bulb section at the Depot is HUGE, easily 100' long. That's a lot of light bulbs to look through.
There was one associate that was stocking the shelves, maybe ½ way down the section. At the end of the light bulb section were another 2 or 3 associates, but they were just talking to each other, laughing pretty regularly. I passed by the person stocking the shelf, and was close enough to the associates gabbing away with each other to hear their conversation. The light bulb section I needed to look in was closest to the trio of chatting associates. I made no attempt to ask for help; I wanted to see if they would stop talking and see if they could help me.
Well, based on the title of this review I think that you can guess that neither the chatting associates or the shelf stocker offered to help me find what I was looking for. I didn't find the light bulb that I was looking for. It's quite possible that they had it and I missed it, or maybe it was in the back store room. Either way I'll never know for sure, and the Home Depot potentially lost out on a sale now. Also in the future I will probably hit up my local hardware store or Amazon for things that I could get...

First tried to get fencing done, had the people out for a quote and everything then magically they disappeared and our request was never seen again... the final time was trying to purchase a washer and dryer. Well that obviously fell through and heaven forbid they discuss compensation or even an apology, instead excuses on top of excuses that Iām sure my children wouldnāt even find acceptable. Finally two weeks later they were able to deliver again this time the delivery person showed up went downstairs to see where the units would be placed and said nope I canāt install and went to his car and drove off with my washer and dryer. I made a phone call demanding my appliances be returned and I would install myself only to be told they would be able to get them to me next week. So I asked for a refund and to cancel my order only to have to wait another 2 weeks for my money to...
