I was in the area and wanted a bean burrito (the usual), but the Taco Bell I usually go to was in the opposite direction from where I had to go next, so I figured I was out of luck. All of the sudden, as I'm approaching the entrance to get on I-95, when I came across this fairly new Taco Bell. I was able to ger in and out very quickly, which I like. Katie was at the drive thru and did just great at paying attention to what I wanted. She seemed nice. The burrito was spot on. It was one of the best I've gotten at any Taco Bell ever (and I have had hundreds of burritos from various Taco Bells all over Connecticut & beyond). The dough was warm and fresh. The fillings were in proper ratio and certainly not overloaded onions of sauce. Somebody aced Burritos 101 with flying colors! The only thing that seemed odd to me was while trying to pay with the exact amount ($2.12), I couldn't find a penny. So, I ended up paying with (two bucks and) a quarter and was owed thirteen cents. For some reason, I was asked if I would be wanting my change. If they wanted the penny from me, I certainly wanted the 13 pennies from them. Anyway, not a big deal, but it did throw me off a bit. It felt awkward and confusing... Overall, I am happy I stopped here and will come here again...
Read moreI am a chauffeur, and I travel a lot. I love the parking space because I was able to park my bus. As I went in first thing I went to do was use the restroom very clean. The front desk person was very helpful and patient and my food was amazing. Literally the tacos full just like the picture may sound unrealistic, but true!!!!! I speak about this because throughout Connecticut I have gone to many Taco Bell‘s and I can say this is one out of two locations that has done the food correctly where I don’t have to ask to make my tacos over. Thank you so much for the amazing experience and for the manager coming to check how was my food!!!!!! Now, other than an actual restaurant who actually goes out in fast food to converse with the guest to see how was the food etc. Jesus was his name we need more like him again thank you says a lot of the place when you have a head...
Read moreMy elderly grandmother visited the Taco Bell in East Haven, CT between approximately 7:00–7:30 PM. Upon entering, she was ignored by staff members who were horsing around and behaving unprofessionally. When she finally received their attention, she was told she had to place her order using the kiosk. No one offered any assistance, despite her clear difficulty using it. She became frustrated, left the dining area, and proceeded to place her order through the drive-thru instead. When she arrived home, the quality of the food was also extremely poor. This entire experience was disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering her age and the lack of basic customer...
