One afternoon a week or so ago I went with my daughter down to the airport in the afternoon to pick up my wife from a flight. On the way there, I planned on going to Taco Pete in East Point which is very close to the airport. It started raining like crazy and by the time we got to Taco Pete it was still raining rather heavily, and yet there were people driving up in a fairly steady stream and picking up their orders or standing under the overhang out of the rain in order to place their orders - even though it was pouring down rain! This got me thinking: these people must know something that I don't know, this place must really be good! Well, since we had some time to wait and I'm not down around the airport very much, we ordered a lot of different things on the Taco Pete menu to try, and also to have something for my wife for when she got off her long flight. So we ordered a few of their soft shell tacos, a chicken burrito, a chicken quesadilla, and also an order of hot wings. The rain had almost stopped when we received our food, so it was good timing. The young lady at the order window was very friendly and she gave us a couple of bottles of water as our drinks for when we were waiting. It was quite something having such a smorgasbord there in a couple of big bags in our little Kia: the various delicious smells filled up the car. The burrito was already cut in half so I took half, my daughter took half, and it was gone in almost no time. The Taco Pete burrito was different than any I had ever had before: as soon as I took a bite, there was a burst of numerous tasty flavors. It was the most flavorful burrito I had ever tasted before in my life and it had the most fresh and high quality ingredients that I had ever tasted too. It definitely was not your typical burrito that is sold around Atlanta area or even those sold the big chains such is Moe’s and Chipotle. It had quite a taste of quality and yet wasn't too heavy. The tacos were also very good - I'd never eaten many soft shell tacos before, so they were pleasant surprise - one of the things I found out about soft shell tacos is that you can fit more in them than you can with hard shell tacos, which tend to have everything falling out of them. We really appreciated all the chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and taco sauce that were crammed in our wonderful Taco Pete soft shell tacos! We saved one of the big chicken quesadillas for my wife, which she really appreciated getting as soon as we picked her up- we had ordered two chicken quesadillas, so we each had half of one. The chicken quesadilla was delicious. Crammed with flavorful chicken and tasty vegetables, it was a special treat. Oh, I almost forgot to mention our order of hot wings, which were simply unforgettable. The hot wings definitely were hot, but it was a good kind of hot-the flavor was excellent. They were very flavorful and very satisfying to eat-they were also the best hot wings I had ever tasted. There was some kind of sour cream dip that came with it that made it toned down if you wanted to dip your hot wing into that, so after a little while I've went back and forth either just eating the wings straight out or dipping them, they were great either way. So as far as I'm concerned, every time I'm going down the airport to pick someone up for drop someone off from now on, I'm going to do my best to go to Taco Pete as part of the experience. The Atlanta airport is usually not too much fun, but just the thought of going back to Taco Pete makes me start to look for excuses to get back down that way again. Hey, you need a ride to...

Well I got back to the office and was telling my co-workers about this place. Within days everyone was starting to go there. Well last week yes I'm writing this a week later that's how pissed I was at the treatment! I called in 3 orders of chili dogs due to the limited parking and long wait times. Once I got there I went to the window to let them know I was there assuming the food would be waiting for me. I was instructed rudely by a girl in the back to get another line where people were paying for their food which by the way was a long line (15-20min wait) once I arrive at the window to pay I was given my food the fries were cold in the bag was all greasy and soggy because the food was just sitting there for about 45 minutes I didn't want to cause a fuss by not getting the food so I just asked if they could maybe throw the fries back in so that I would have hot fries. I was then yelled at by a tall guy in the back never to call in my food order again !! I was trying to explain to him that I had been there 10 minutes after I called in the order to pick up the food but I was told to wait in the line which was a long line he then yelled at me and asked me just not to come back if I don't like the way it works!! I cannot believe he was speaking to me like this we are paying customers in customer service is key!! Customers are the reason why you have Job's!! customers are the reason why you are still open for business!!! Also the last time we ordered shrimp salad the shrimp were so tiny and over cooked not to mention nachos that were old. I have told all my coworkers my experience there and everyone else that I come in contact with I am truly disgusted by the poor customer service and the non-consistent fresh food!! And omg I can't believe some of the other reviews I'm...
Read moreRUDE AND NASTY PEOPLE WORK HERE!! Co-workers of mine went to the location on E.Main in E.Point, GA for lunch. I gave my order (nachos with everything) to a cowoker in which she placed it as I asked. Well, when the order came back it was incorrect(wet nachos with too much cheese sauce and sloppy joe type meat). I questioned my coworker about it, and she stated the young lady at the window was rude, and she didnt know what to say since she had never ordered from there. I took the order back and showed the young lady the sloppy wet nachos that were in the container and explained to her that there was an error and how it may have occurred. She immediately became rude and nasty saying that it was my fault I should have told my coworker that I wanted a nacho salad. I attempted to explain again that my coworker asked for nachos with everything (we did not have a menu to know there was a difference). She said that was not the same I asked why not? Doesnt your taco salad come with nachos, cheese, lettuce, etc. She said yes. I said so whats the difference from a nacho salad vs nachos with everything when they have the same ingredients? I then opened the container again and said well if my coworker requested nachos with everything wouldnt that be the equivalent to a taco salad? From there an exchange of words occurred (clearly the customer is always right philosophy skipped this establishment). A guy standing behind her stated we donot do refunds, I told him I am asking for a correction not a refund. The RUDE/NASTY attitude woman told me I would have to pay a difference. I asked what was the difference she told me $1.00!!! I gave her a dollar, took my food and left. I NO LONGER EAT AT THIS PLACE, NOR DO ANY OF THE 150 COWORKERS IN...
