Please read the reviews and do not buy anything from Anaās if youāre expecting an item to be delivered!! My experience trying on dresses and finding The One was fine. I had no suspicions about Ana at this time as she has been around for a long time and seemed genuine. But she is only pleasant when you are looking to buy. First you have to pay to even come in and try on dresses. I had to change my appointment time and paid the fee twice. She had no idea and if I did not tell her I did, she would have kept that $100. That should have been my first red flag. I went here October 15th 2024 with a wedding date a year later, October 11, 2025. We shopped way in advance to have plenty of time to prepare. We found a beautiful dress and wanted to ensure it came in, and paid in full. We were told 5 months for the dress to come in. Luckily we went early right? 6 months later itās April and I havenāt heard any updates from Ana, so I decided to call. I called April 18th and April 29th, both times unable to get her on the phone and left voicemails. I called again on May 6th with the same result. No answer and I left a voicemail for an update. Finally in June I realized it has been 8 months since the dress was bought and I have no idea where it is. I get my mother in law to be involved and we attempt to get a hold of Ana on June 3rd, 5th and 8th. Finally we decided to have a family member go in person to help figure out what was going on as we were unable to go in person due to work. Anaās website had also been down since June and there was no way to even try booking an appointment to come in. She told our family member that to not worry, the dress is coming in the next 2 weeks it is at the warehouse ready to ship. When I called her back that day after she finally left me a voicemail she again kept saying do not panic the dress is coming. She tells me the reason she did not call me back was because she had no updates on the dress and was waiting for the designer to give her a response. If there are no updates on a dress that is overdue delivery that is something you should be calling about. If she spoke to the designer I should have gotten an update saying she is working on getting more information. Not calling back because she doesnāt have a good enough answer is terrible communication. She told me that she was told a ship date of May 14th and that it takes 3 weeks to come in. This phone call was on June 6th, 3.5 weeks after May 14th so again sheās making up excuses. She said, the wedding is in October and when the designer sees a later date they do not worry about rushing the orders and that I have plenty of time. Keep in mind thatās now 4 months away and Ana had the audacity to tell us we had plenty of time when we wanted the dress in April as promised, 4 months isnāt plenty of time. She was unable to give a clear reason as to why the dress was not here yet, unable to give us an order number or a tracking number of a dress we paid for. She said the dress will be here in 2 weeks. Exactly 14 days later, I left Ana a voicemail and later that day called Ana 6 times with no answer. I finally had to call under an unknown number and she instantly picked up. Told me on the phone āitās only Monday it will be in by Fridayā. This is the second promised date of arrival and at this point Iām giving up of the idea that my dress will arrive. We go to another boutique not far from Anaās and they showed me the website, inventory and ship date of the dress. There was plenty in stock and had next day ship dates with delivery of less than a week. I ordered a size 2 (Ana chose a size 6) and the dress came in only 2 days. Even if the dress had to be made from scratch we were able to see the ship date of about 4 months. They even gave me the order and tracking number. It seems like Ana cannot get these dresses as its a common theme in the other reviews and she still took our money. This is FRAUD and should be reported, Ana should not be in business still. She almost ruined the most important day of my life. Donāt fall for her scams and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT GO HERE. Please save yourself and your wedding from the horrible customer service that this place offers. My sister in law went here to get her wedding dress and had the WORST experience. To start, they had the wedding date wrong three times which she gave them repeatedly. It got worse when the head piece she ordered wasn't in on time, which is understandable given shipping time, but when it finally did "arrive" she was given it in a box that they put in a bag with no support at all. That being said, we noticed that the headpiece looked used and that they no longer had the display piece out so we are certain that they gave us the one on display (which for 400 dollars is very disapointing). THIS IS BEFORE THE DRESS DISASTER. My sister was measured at Ana's Bridal and she was measured as a double zero... when you order a wedding dress you might order a few sizes too big to make room for adjustments but they convinced her to order a size 4!! Which is 4 sizes too large!! When you go to a business that specializes in fitting wedding dresses you trust the opinion of the people working for that business so we ordered the dress in a size four assuming we would make adjustments. THE DAY OF HER FITTING, which they had made an appointment for 11am they call us TEN MINUTES prior to the fitting to tell us that they received information THAT MORNING that the dress wont be in and they weren't sure when it would come in. We completely understand that shipping is very tricky and not to mention we were rushing the order as it was, but you do not call someone as they pull into your parking lot when you could have informed us hours before... when we finally got the dress it was HUGE. We tried calling and asking why they ordered such a large dress they completely denied telling her to get a size four and gave excuses after excuses trying to blame my sister for ordering such a large dress... THIS IS TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE WEDDING. We finally find a responsible and polite seamstress who was mortified at the sizing decisions of Ana's bridal.. (which they still completly deny) When trying to fit the dress 4 sizes smaller we find that it had a huge rip in the lace, missing buttons, and that alterations had been done on it before..... it was supposed to be a new dress which for over two grand you would expect, but this dress had been altered/worn or at least handled before... When we called Ana's bridal for an explanation, the customer service was horrible and the lady came up with excuse after excuse trying to blame her for picking a size 4 and kept referring to our contract which we just wanted an apology or at least some kind words of encouragement (which is what a bride needs to hear in a situation like this).... overall we are left with a rude message from the women at Ana's bridal and a 600 dollar bill in order to TRY and fix this dress from a more responsible and kind tailor.
I never leave bad reviews because mistakes happen and some people are just bad at customer service but we do not want other brides to have to deal with this in the future, no matter how many excuses they make they never once took responsibility and I'm sure they will deny any wrong doing on their part. This is a business for brides how could they treat someone with such disrespect and try to put the blame on the bride. We'll definitely be taking further action to stop this business from doing this to people. EMAIL ME FOR PICTURES, YOU WILL BE AMAZED.
(Reading the responses on here from the owner you can clearly see how willing they are to deny everything and give rude comments as if they have never heard of customer...

When trying on dresses, my salesperson switched 3 times (and hour appointment). In that sense, you sort of take shopping into your own hands. That can be fine, but you may miss out on designers/styles if you don't have a good eye.
Ordering couldn't have been simpler (I told them the style I wanted over the phone, and gave them my credit card), but it doesn't seem like there's a system where they closely look back at your purchase. Over the 4 months it took for my dress to come in, I had 3 calls from salespeople asking if I wanted to order the dress I tried on. Each time I had a heart attack, but they assured me they just had my card they filled out while I was trying on dresses. When I asked for them to check if my order was indeed placed, they asked if I had paid. When I said yes, they said "then it was ordered!". Butā¦what??
I didn't have a lot of faith for my correct order to come in, but sure enough, in May, they called and said my dress was in! YAY. They said I could only come in a month before the wedding (no sooner) to do my fittingsā¦but it was difficult since I had to drive from Boston each time to get my dress fitted.
Alterations (shortening of straps and hem) cost $50 (my dress was $200) and they don't do complimentary steamings (it's $15). They said I'd have to come in again if I wanted it steamedā¦no way am I driving from Boston to Providence for that!
-- So far, so good...I headed to Ana's to try on Alfred Sung bridesmaid dresses. Over the phone, they answered my questions and looked up the dresses I wanted to try on. It was a great meeting point between my parents and I (Connecticut and Boston, respectively). I made an appointment a week after my call with them, and they were able to book me in.
As soon as we got there, they pulled the dresses I asked about an I headed to try them on. They were good about zipping me up, when I came out but they weren't necessarily in the back with me. I actually preferred that they weren't hovering over me, so I didn't feel rushed while my parents took photos and we looked closely at each dress.
It was a little difficult because in my hour and a half there, I had 3 different people helping me (thank you Toryn and other girls!!). Each one was very nice and helpful, but sometimes I had to re-explain my wants and needs. I guess because I knew pretty much exactly what I was looking for, this wasn't really an issue. They helped me by clipping the dress so I can see how it will look after alterations, and bringing some blinged out belts to fancy up my dress (one which cost $677...HAHAHAHAHAHA omg.)
Ana's carried every dress I was looking for (7 dresses) and more. I ended up pulling a dress by the same designer from the rack..and that was the one I chose. I called the next day and ordered it from them over the phone. The wedding is in 4 months and 9 days, but they didn't have to rush it (extra $$$). They said alterations (when they're pretty simple, like a hem or shortening straps) takes a day, so even though we're cutting it close, the dress will be ready in time for the wedding (fingers crossed)!
I ultimately thought I would order my dress online (I had tried them on at a store on Newbury Street in Boston, and they were sometimes $100 more than online boutiques), but after seeing comparable prices online and In the store, I decided to purchase my dress through Ana's Bridal.
I'll update my review once the dress...
