I am blown away by the customer service, helpful knowledge, and tips from Rick's Repair. Rick is honest, highly knowledgeable, and straightforward. He takes his time when speaking with you so you don't feel rushed, especially if you're in a stressful situation with your TV. He will do his best to help you over the phone so you don't have to waste your time lugging around your TV. I'm new to the area and heard wonderful things about this business! Now, I can see why. Prior to hearing about Rick's Repair, I tried other service repair shops I found on Google, and they were awful and unpleasant. I have a Samsung 75" that accidentally tipped and hit my head, causing lines all over the screen, and then my NEW 85" has a very vague, distinct line – talk about stressful. The other places I called acted like it was easy to just bring the 75" TV in to be looked at. I have heard over the years that once you see lines on your screen or it's cracked, the TV is junk, and Rick confirmed that. The only place in Rhode Island that I could find that still repairs TVs. Such a sweet older gentleman and his wife running the place. He seemed to really know his way around a lot of the newer electronics. I brought in an 85" Samsung QLED that wouldn't turn on. (Turns out the circuit board exploded) Charged a $50 diagnostic fee that went towards the repair if it could be done. All said and done, my TV was fixed within 3 days and I only had to spend $200 for the repair. Called in and asked if my problem was something he could help with. He grumpily told me basically "maybe". Told him I'd be bringing in my tv for repair at 3:30 as he told me they were closing at 4:15. Showed up at 3:15, and the store was closed down, and locked. Tried calling with no response. Left voicemail, and still no response to my voicemail.
