The pharmacy is the worst. Go to the CVS website & look at the directory at the bottom. Does it say customer service anywhere? Nope. & it's clear they do not care about customers. I got emails, texts & phone calls asking me if I wanted 90 days on my prescriptions. I said no to all of them. I go in to pick up my refill & it's way more expensive. I look & it's a 90 day fill. I told them I don't want it & to put it in their system. I come in again. Same thing. 90 day fill. So I asked to talk to the head pharmacist. I told her my problem. She said because they are linked with Aetna, Aetna can go into their system & just change it. Hello? That's not my problem, that's yours. I DON'T WANT 90 DAY FILL!!! So she says she will change it in the system. The next time I come in 1 of 3 medications is ready & it's a 30 day fill. Next medication, guess what? 90 days. Then I come in again to get the one that was just 30 days & the 3rd medication is also due. I get 30 day fill & they have to call the doctor for prescription extension on the 3rd med. Why wasn't this done already? I have only been getting these same medications for years & they go hand in hand dependent on the other. It's not like it's for a cold. I'm on it for life. So after getting doctor approval I go in & guess what? 90 days for this one too. So I tell them I don't want it & I have now have to come back to get it filled correctly. Another 30 days gone by & I need the meds that I just got 2 times in a row 30 days. Guess? Yep 90 days. This is the worst customer service possible. Now this past 2 weeks I've been getting text messages that they need approval for an alternative medication. Why? The most popular, reddely available medication for an extremely common condition isn't available?? & you don't have the remainder of the 90 days that I rejected last time for a customer coming in every 30 days for years? No other CVS has any either? I get a text today saying the doctor hasn't responded to the request for alternative medication. So I call CVS & of course have to sift through their garbage automated system. Finally I get through & guess what? Everything is fine on their end, it's all worked out. So bothering me with text messages that are not even accurate & it was for a medication that I don't need a refill for another 3 months because I was only using half & they gave me a 90 day fill on it. What a vision of utter incompetence. This is just one scenario by the way. My wife ordered a prescription. Was texted it's ready. I arrive & it's not. They say 15 minutes. I can't wait. I come back 3 hours later. It's not ready yet they say. I come back the next day. No it's not ready because we don't have it. Well you supposedly had it yesterday. No we never had it. But we are getting it tomorrow. I come in next day. No we don't have it. We haven't sold it in years & we can't get it. So I had to go to Target pharmacy to get it & they had plenty in stock. Another time my wife got a prescription sent to the pharmacy by her doctor. It was a refill that is "sooner than expected" so the lady at CVS says we are not going to give it to you, it's too soon for a refill. I asked did you receive the request from the doctor today? Yes. But it's too soon we won't give it to you. I said my wife needs it & her doctor sent the request. She says, I don't care I'm not giving it to you. I said you understand you are hurting my wife by not filling a doctor prescription you received today? Yes I understand that. I don't care I'm not giving it out. What??? I wish I could have sued them right then & there but unfortunately I don't have the money for a lawyer. At least I haven't seen that worker again since then. CVS does not care about it's...
Read moreI was trying to call in a prescription for a mutual patient, only to have a pharmacist say she's going to place me on a brief hold however she clicked on me no big deal thought maybe it's a mistake, I give them a call back (as I was not called back), Again a female picks up the phone does not state who she is, I explained that I am calling from a psychiatrist office to refill a medication the response I got was "I can't legally do that, let me place you on hold" instead again she clicks on me. There's a reason people are leaving the big chain pharmacies and this is a perfect example, they act as if they're doing you a favor instead of trying to run a proper business, how can they be so careless with such things our mutual patients have mental health issues that require their medication to cope, I hope this does not get removed. (Last month with this same pharmacy I had other issues where a pharmacist used vulgar language on an assistant calling in medication (thinking the phone call was over I am assuming?), however it looks like my review...
Read moreThe pharmacy filled a liquid medication, and it appears to have some fungus in the medication. I returned to the pharmacy to exchange it and the technician informed me that I have to come back tomorrow and see the manager David since he is responsible for filling it . after arguing the issue, the store manager Tom came in and try to explain this failure on a policy that Technicon is following which means the same Technicon who filled it need to exchange it, I am not sure if there is a policy like this. but in the same way I am assuming there is a policy to inspect and do a proper quality control to medication prior of handing it to patient. Tom response was “I have to remove you from store”. I am assuming it is ethical and professional obligation to inspect the medication properly, Patients should not come to store again to see a manager who failed to fill it properly, deal with a rude Technicon or Tom the...
