I was shocked to see 2 store managers, Gabe and Adolfo not wearing a mask by the refrigerated section at the store in Eastvale store #789 around 3:45pm on 4/26/2021. I walked away from them because how dare they ignore safety protocol and made my way to the meat department. I was soon caught up to by them still no mask! I walked away from them again and started my way to the registers. There, I noticed Gabe and Adolfo already getting rung up for their personal purchases and then they left the store. I asked Isabelle, the girl who was ringing me up, if they were managers and she ignored my question the three times I asked. I then turned my question to Tiffany E., who is an Assistant manager and she said they in fact are store managers. I expressed my concern for their absence of a mask and she said nothing to me but made a shrugging hand and body gesture. I asked for the phone number to their Corporate office and the names of the 2 store managers. She quickly gave me a receipt with the information I requested. Once in my car I tried to call but realized Tiffany E. had given me an erroneous number so I walked back into the store. This time it was Pamela who "helped" me. I told her about my discovery and she said nothing and walked toward the register as I followed her. I asked as she wrote down the phone number, " Is that the same phone number Tiffany E. gave me?" She said, "IDK. Here!" and she handed me the receipt and walked away from me. I said, "excuse me I'm not done talking." Visibly irritated she said, " You can look it up online yourself!" At this point Tiffany E. was back in front of the store, she snatched the original receipt she had given me with the wrong phone number and rudely crumbled it up. I said, "excuse me!" She said, " What? I took the receipt and I crumbled it up!' I said, "wow!" And again she said the same thing in a unprofessional thuggish manner. I asked for her to add her name to the list of unprofessional staff and to also include the name of the girl who rung me up. She giggled as she looked towards Isabelle's direction at the same time. Isabelle from 2 registers away said, " What? I didn't do anything." I left the store feeling completely invalidated as valued customer. Employees are courteous and helpful, clean store. Produce & pastries I buy there are usually not fresh and go bad fast. That said it is convenient so just keep an eye on expiration dates. Update on 3-17-2023 Eastvale Store 789, the cashier whose name is "Jessica" refused to bag my groceries when I asked why she would not she said "Well you already started bagging your own so I just let you finish". I will bag my own if I am standing there while you are ringing me up but can you bag my groceries while I am entering my Information and paying? I noticed the next cashier bagging his customers items. One thing I have noticed is that among all Smart & Final Markets, if you are a Man 9 times out of 10 the cashier will NOT bag your groceries for you. Please provide "Customer Service Training" to your employees. #this is not food for less. UPDATE 7/4/2023 @ 9:02am same store. Once again, purchased 2 bags of groceries and during my debit card transaction the clerk would NOT bag my groceries while simultaneously a woman at the register in front of me is having HER groceries bagged by the cashier in front of me. UPDATE 7/28/2023 FINALLY! Store 789 in Eastvale, CA a cashier by the name of "KARRIE" bagged my groceries on her own without me having to ask her to. 6:30 pm Tuesday 5-26-20. Im in the meat department with my daughter trying to buy my ribeyes to bbq. The supervisor/manager tells me "sir you can't shop in our store unless you have a mask on". I proceed to put down my basket to leave and she says "you can buy a mask for $1.99 up front". I laughed and walked out. Ribeyes here $18.00 each

I drove down to Ralph's and entered into a supermarket where a large percentage of people where not wearing mask. I bought my ribeyes and left. Ribeyes here on sale for $8 each. Thanks for saving me $20

Does smart and final not realize a Sprouts will be open down the street soon?? Does smart and final not realize a Stater bros will be open down the street soon? Why is it that Smart and Final is not up to date on Riverside County COVID guidelines?
